    crashing and high memory usage

    We are using nitro 13.49.2.993 on multiple computers and since today we are all facing the same problem. When we start nitro it immediately increases the memory usage until it reaches the maximum. We can't open any document because it doesn't response, the computer get's black screens and we have to force a shutdown. We already used the tool to remove nitro and all the associated files, restarted the machine and installed nitro again but this didn't solved it. Last thursday it was working properly and in the meantime we didn't installed new updates/fixes.
  3. Hi Support, For some reason anytime I open up the Nitro it takes 30sec - 1min to load up. I have tried reinstall the program and repair but the issue still there. Please advise what other solutions can i apply. Thank you.

  5. I am using PDFPenPro 13.1 for Mac on MacBook Pro (13-inch, 2016, Four Thunderbolt 3 Ports), running macOS Mojave 10.14.6 (18G9323). PDFpenPro's OCR process often stalls when being run on a relatively long document, whether it is run with the document open, or from the “OCR files…” command. This has been a problem for me since before version 10. I have raised this issue a couple of times with the Smile support team. I am hoping that the new support team at Nitro might offer further help. What happens (which one can see from Activity Monitor is that one or two processes called 'PDFpenOCR' start when I run the “OCR document” command, and after a while these processes slow down, and eventually halt. The application (PDFpenPro) itself thereby hangs, and I have to force quit it. Sometimes, one of the two “PDFpenOCR” dies and the other keeps going, and OCR is completed. But this is unpredictable, and I often have to try a number of times. I can upload an example document which gives me grief, as well as a verbose log taken during an attempt at OCR-ing it. My (technically illiterate) suspicion has been that, with larger files the memory runs out and causes the OCR process to halt. (This happens with Acrobat Pro.) If that is the case, a solution would be to implement an option of running OCR on a specified range of pages, so that a user can OCR a document not in one go but in smaller steps. (Indeed this is what one does with Acrobat Pro. But I may be ignorant of some obvious reason why adding this functionality is difficult.) Working around this is time-consuming, but even with this issue PDFPenPro has been an indispensable tool for my work. So I am trying once again to raise this issue. Thanks. Yuuki Ohta

    NITRO PRO HAS UPGRADED MY VERSION WITHOUT PERMISSION

    Hi @Marcia Cristina Viegas Thank you for reaching out to us through our Community Forums! In checking your account information, it seems that you have upgraded your license to version 13. I found this information when I search using your email address. I can also see that you have successfully installed Nitro PDF Pro 13 and activated it using your new serial number. I recommend to continue using the latest version since we no longer support Nitro Pro 11 and older and its activation servers have been shut down. Thus, any new activation or deactivation attempts on these versions will no longer work. Also, access to the installer for older version is no longer available. Please let me know if you have any further questions.

  10. Hello All, I have an older code because I have been using Nitro since 2009 in my old XP machine. I finally had to upgrade and the new version of Nitro doesn't recognize my code. I went to Nitro's website and ran it through your help section, but the message I got was "please select devices to deactivate" and there are none to choose from. According to your instructions, it says if I could click through the DEACTIVATE button I could then re-activate my license 2 times. I can't get past the first step, sorry. It does show my code is good, though, so that's a start! Please help!
  11. Hi there! Nitro Pro 10 upgraded my version, but I did not notice. Now, I keep viewing an "Buy License" option on the top toolbar, although my current license only expires by next week.     Lost Serial Number

  16. No, this did not change it. It stayed with letter even though the page was coded to print as Legal. It chopped off the top and the bottom.

You may also see that I only offered you Nitro PDF Pro 13.47 when we already have Nitro PDF Pro 13.49. It is because we have received reports from a few users having issues with Nitro Addins in their x32-bit MS Office 365 on Windows x64-bit systems not being able to load.   20. Hello @SOBrien, Thank you for reaching out to us through our Community Forums! Based on error description, you are getting an Error Code: 0x40000003 when saving the document. A "0x400..." error codes are actually Microsoft Network error codes that are passed on to Nitro Pro. Typically, these errors will occur if you are accessing a file that's not on your hard drive directly. There is a possibility that the file is locked by Windows Explorer's Preview Pane and therefore not able to be saved over. Please try closing Windows Explorer and not on its Preview Pane, then try the edit and save workflow again on the document. You could also try saving the file directly on your computer (not on a network/shared folder). Once saved, copy the file from your computer to the network/shared folder.     Nitro Pro 11 Download link

    Nitro started crashing every time I attempted to scan a page with the program. I read in this forum I should update the software. I downloaded NP 13 not knowing that it replaces my version 11 software. Version 13 crashed every time I attempted to scan too. I uninstalled version 13 and now I don't see a link that works for NP 11. AM I really forced to pay for version 13 even thought it doesn't work any better than the version 11 I own? Can someone post a working link to download version 11?

    I am considering telling the world nitro pro is scamming paying customers. seriously you just want us to pay for support so you create activation and installation nightmares. my facebook page has half a million fans so I don't give a damn about your brand after you scammed us all.
  25. Hello Eric, Thanks for reaching out! You have a Nitro Pro 13 key, purchased in 2020 that starts with 5. Your version 12 serial number upgraded to Pro 13, so the old serial is already invalid. Please uninstall Nitro Pro 12 and install version 13: https://www.gonitro.com/nps/product-details/downloads Please let me know how that goes.

    Hello eddy, We recently discovered a bug in 13.49 related to this that we are now currently investigating. Can you please uninstall Nitro Pro 13? Then use the version 13 installers below: x64 x32 Please let me know if you are able to load add-ins after installing using the links above.
