Moving pages within a document

If I want to move pages within a document, it appears to be a clumsy slow process. I am currently highlighting/selecting the pages then dragging them up the document via the thumbnail images on the left hand side. If you have a large document, this can take far too long. You should be able to select the pages you want to move; then go to the place you want to insert the pages; then click 'move here before / after this page (as with inserts I recollect which works this way).

Automatic Form Recognition And Automatic Update

I was thrilled at the release of Nitro Pro 13, but I am disappointed because from version 12 these are the main things that aren't in Nitro 13:

-Automatic form recognition (present in competitors software)

-Automatic update from the Nitro App (also present in competitors software).

I would like to see these features added as soon as possible, because I think that are essential, especially the automatic update feature.

quite terrible color discrimination about the scroll bar, should be fixed

Hello, I have tried Nitro pro several days, all is good except the color of scroll bar. It's really difficult to find it because its color is very poor discrimination with the background. Can you guys find where the scroll bar is?

I think it should be changed.

Export to Specific File Size

We have a requirement to export emails from Outlook with attachments embedded, but the PDFs cannot exceed 30MB in size. I would recommend including the feature to export these emails and allow the user to select the maximum file size that the resulting PDF can be. So far I have not found any PDF program that allows this in a single step from Outlook to PDF. We'd purchase Nitro PDF if it offered this feature.

in times of corona-caused "homeschooling" as teacher I'm enthusiastic about the capabilities of Nitro. When working with my Android-tablet i am missing this feature.

File Save Location

Saving files always defaults to the previous folder saved.

I work - like most - in several different folders and expect that the software will know where I am working.

For instance:

1) in File Explorer if I want to merge several files, I right click and select Combine Files with Nitro Pro. When I save it wants to save in the last folder that I was using, not the folder where the files were located.

2) in File Explorer if I want to edit a PDF, I right click and select Edit in Nitro Pro. When I choose Save As instead of using the folder that the file is actually in, it goes to the folder that was previously used.

This happens whether or not the program is activated from File Explorer or opened by clicking on the icon.

All the other software that I use defaults to the folder the file opened is in, not the previous file's folder.

Though Scansnap use proprietary driver, www.hamrick.com (Vuescan) succeeded in taking its control. Please ask Hamrick how he did the trick and let us use Scansnap on Nitropro.

Too Many Screens to Insert Files

The upgrade following version 10.5.4.16 has added a third screen to the Insert from File process. Previously, if you chose Insert from File, you were immediately presented with the Windows Navigator screen to choose the file to insert, then you went to the Insert Pages screen to set the insertion location, etc. Now when you Insert from File, you first have to choose from file or folder, then click to get the navigator screen, then click to get the Insert Pages screen. It's a lot more steps. I get that it was done that way to allow adding in multiple insertions from different locations, However, it might be better to somehow combine the Insert from File/Folder screen with the Insert Pages screen. For example, the Insert Pages options could be at the bottom of the Insert File/Folders screen and greyed out. Once a file or folder is added to the window, it can be highlighted to activate those options so that you can do all of the choosing and settings on one screen. It could also be made to allow choosing many different PDFs to insert at different points as well. For example the first chosen file could be inserted at the front. The second could be inserted at the back. A third could have on pages 2-3 inserted, etc. Make less, more usable screens.

One more thing - could you stop changing the locations of commands with each upgrade? Insert from File was on the Edit Tab on version 10 and it's on the Home Tab on version 11. It's getting tiresome to keep having to relearn where my favorite commands are located each time there is an upgrade!

Setting the zoom level for all bookmarks

When I merge documents into one PDF, the bookmark zoom for each bookmark is set to "Fit Page". Courts have a requirement that it is set to 100%. How can I change mutiple books without having to go in and change the properties of hundred of bookmarks?

Lame 4K Resolution Interface Support

I have a beautiful Lenovo X1 Extreme 4K Calibrated Monitor and is a shame the interface resolution of NitroPDF. Is there any way we can improve that? Is there any setting we can manipulate to do so? If Nitro is competing with Acrobat, that is one crucial aspect to improve.

Nitro is not compatible with Persian and Arabic languages

Unfortunately, PDF editor do not support Persian and Arabic languages.the words fall in the opposite direction.

Custom dynamic stamp

I'd like to have a custom stamp, once selected I will get a form to fill out a couple text (ie. firstname, lastname) before applying it to the PDF.

Acrobat Pro has this option, but I cann't find it in Nitro Pro.

Automatic Form Detection

When will Nitro upgrade to automatic form detection when trying to create forms, so we don't have to insert all of the form fields manually. Some of my forms are multiple pages and if I have to update them, then I have to reinsert all of the form fields. When I had Adobe, this was not a problem.

V12 search function change

The search function has changed which is partially better but also worse because it would be best if once you have searched you can just use "enter" again or the arrow keys to scroll through the results. It seems the only way at the moment is to click in the search results and then use the arrow keys. This might not seem like much difference but when you search alot it makes a big difference.

option to write from right to left

I like the software but unfortunately there is no option to write from right to left like in hebrew language.

Only possible to write characters from right to left inside notes but not inside text box.

I think your software is better than paperport but because of not supporting this feature - unfortunately i'll have to use paperport

I have been using Nitro for a long time, through a number of versions and for the past few years the Pro version.

I have always wondered why Nitro does not have an "auto update" feature like other programs.

And in the absence of that, why is there no notification via email or other route for registered users that an update is available?

Every time over the past few years I stumbled upon an upgrade, usually as a result of a frustration. One instance today was the disappearance once again of

I don't mean for this message to focus on tweaks, improvements, bugs or frustrations from whatever cause.

I value the program highly, and like it to be given the best opportunity to continue to satisfy my needs. I would encourage you to add some way for registered users to know when a download of a new update or upgrade is available.

As an aside, but something that is related, if the answer is an email list, I would like more regular information about features I am not using, and Q&A about new features being recommended or developed.

Please make sure the the update feature works checking if there are minor updates as well.

When I run the update, it says that "there are not updated available. You have the latest version of Nitro Pro installed" and in my case that was not true. I was running version 11.0.3.173. and when I checked the website I found that the latest version was 11.0.7.425. So 4 more versions with lots of improvements have been released without me knowing and without the "check update option" knowing about it.

Could you please improve the "check update option" to properly show the availability of new versions (even minor versions).

In adobe one can use javascript to create a fillable dynamic stamp. This would be a useful default feature.

the stamp would be like a form, or can be filled in via a dialog box

Thousands of accounting departments use this method with their paper flows.

It would be great to have a digital version.

Right now the only "go Nitro" option is to 'stamp' or 'quick sign' the image of a stamp and then use 'type text' to type in the info...fiddly, time consuming. not good.
