	Hello,
</p>

<p>
	One of our users is having issues printing PDF files that have double-digit pages. When it sends the print job, it crawls by printing 1 page at a time after a few seconds. Also, at time a Timeout error will be given and fail to print. The same documents are printing at normal speeds on Adobe Reader. Is there a setting that we can change to help aid this issue?

<div>
	Open 30+ page *.docx document in Microsoft Word (Office 365)

<div>
	File &gt; Print
</div>

<div>
	In the Printer setting select Primo PDF (V 5.1.0.2)
</div>

<div>
	In the Pages settings type in 2-5, 24, 26-27
</div>

<div>
	Click Print
</div>

<div>
	Primo would open
</div>

<div>
	Click on Safe As PDF
</div>

<div>
	A Save as Window  appears
</div>

<div>
	Select a location to save the pdf document and give it a name
</div>

<div>
	Go to the saved PDF and email the 8 page document.
</div>

<div>

</div>

<div>
	As of Tuesday afternoon, the saved PDF does not include pages 26-27.
</div>

<div>
	I tried typing in 2-5, 24, 26, 27 (coma instead of dash) but it didn't help.

	I tried using  Microsoft Print to PDF instead of Primo PDF
</div>

	Our IT people spent an hour investigating without any resolution and suggested the problem was due to
</div>

<div>
	Pages 26 and 27 are landscape

<div>
	All the other pages are portrait
</div>

<div>
	The IT person could not see any recent updates to Windows 10, Adobe Acrobat DC, Primo, Microsoft Office 365 or the printer drivers
</div>

<div>

</div>

<div>
	Why did this work for the last several years and suddenly stop yesterday?
</div>

<div>
	<div>
		There has been no changes to the Word document for over 12 months.
	</div>
</div>

<div>
	What do we need to do to fix the problem?
</div>

<div>

</div>

<div>
	I've figured out a work around but it's much more time consuming:
</div>

<div>
	pdf the entire document
</div>

<div>
	Open in Adobe Acrobat DC
</div>

<div>
	Delete the pages I don't need
</div>

<div>
	Resave the document
</div>

<div>

</div>

<div>
	Thanks in advance

	I noticed when I downloaded the Nitro Pro 13.31.0.605 update that when I click on File&gt;Print, the printer name and settings are <u>miniscule </u> (one has to get within a few inches of the screen to make out what they say) and the preview of the page one would be printing is extremely small.  The release notes indicate that *.605 improves print preview for those with high DPS scale settings (is I believe how it was stated).  I have a laptop that came with UHD, but Windows makes it standard FHD.  I don't have an external monitor that has higher resolution than FHD and it has the same issue when I view the Nitro Pro file opened on it as well.  Anyone else having this problem?  If I open a Word document in Word and do the same thing, everything is standard size and not miniscule.  I have another laptop that is "only" FHD, and I do not have this issue using the same *.605 Nitro Pro release.
</p>

<p>
	I don't know if I could reinstall the 13.30.2.587 release to see if I have the same problem.

	Hi Nitro - just started using Nitropdf with latest Appeon Powerbuilder. I got it to make a spooled file ok, which was a major breakthrough for us on Windows 10 (upgrading some older OS's). However there's some behavior I need to be able to modify/suppress. I have a screenshot but I can't upload a .jpg here it looks like; I don't have it on a url anywhere so descriptions will have to suffice:
</p>

<p>
	1- as soon as it hits the Powerbuilder "PrintOpen()" command, it throws up the Nitro spooling window. PrintOpen() takes an argument TRUE/FALSE that is <em>supposed </em>to be able to suppress a printer selection window, and feeding it like so  PrintOpen("jobname", <strong><span style="color:#8e44ad;">FALSE</span></strong>), it does suppress the Windows printer selection window, but still throws up the Nitro spooler. As this is all run from an automated batch job, we can't have a spooler window popping up and hanging up the job. How to bypass?
</p>

<p>
	2- along with spooler window, a default file ("powerbuilder.pdf") is set up in the spooler window which I take it Nitro is grabbing from the app name. This is no good as  a) we need our own specific file names and   b) it is auto-saving the above default file name to the c:\windows  folder. Can't have this either. We need to be able to feed Nitro our filename and location programmatically and have it take it.
</p>

<p>
	Please advise on how I can remedy 1 &amp; 2 above. Note that I am having to run Powerbuilder as administrator in this test box (Windows Server 2019 in this case, other boxes will be Win 10 or Win 2016), which makes a diff. When I don't run PB as admin, Nitro spooler window on save gives me "file locked" error. So I've solved that at least. Thanks much!

	Hello,
</p>

<p>
	A client I am assisting is having issues printing to PDF using the Nitro Pro 11 Printer. They are able to print to PDF using the built in Microsoft PDF printer. I suspect that their product (which is end of support) is not playing nice with a recent windows update. Versions are as follows:
</p>

<p>

</p>

<p>
	Nitro Pro 11 - 11.0.7.425
</p>

<p>
	Windows 10 Pro (20H2) - 10.0.19042
</p>

<p>

</p>

<p>
	The following has been tried:
</p>

<p>

</p>

<p>
	-stopping print service, emptying relevant spool folders, restarting print service
</p>

<p>
	-deactivating product, removing product, reinstalling product, reactivating product
</p>

<p>
	-uninstalling and reinstalling the Nitro Pro 11 Printer
</p>

<p>

</p>

<p>
	We are able to use the application to convert files to PDF, so the issue lies with the print function. I have read several posts on this forum and most of the troubleshooting amounts to what is listed above. Nothing has worked so far. Any assistance is appreciated, and it would be nice to know the underlying cause as I don't want to recommend the client purchase the upgrade to Nitro Pro 13 but then it still doesn't work. Our next step is a system rebuild, but would like to avoid that also. Thanks in advance.

	I found the option in the Preferences to check the box "Always save the last locations ..." and checked it and still will not go to my last location, just always goes to Documents.

Printing or creating PDFs is also not possible under Firefox. I had this problem before, after reinstalling Nitro it was fixed for a short time. But now I don't feel like reinstalling the program all the time. Even reinstalling the plug-ins via the settings in NitroPro did not bring any improvement. Can someone give me a tip? So for me the program is expensive and useless

<p>
	A year ago our office had an issue with printing the correct paper/scaling from Nitro Pro 12 [current update] to our Xerox WorkCentre: Nitro wasn't recognizing changes in paper size under Printer Properties. This resulted in the pages being printed on the paper selected under the "printer properties"&gt;"Paper:" dropdown menu, but scaled as if they were set to the paper size nitro thought they were. The solution to this was simple: change the "Original Document Size" in the print driver to "Mixed Size" (Printer properties&gt;Paper&gt;Other Size&gt;Original Document Size) and Nitro was able to recognize changes to the "Output Paper Size" (the dropdown menu next to the "Paper:" field under Printer Properties/Printer Preferences).
</p>

<p>
	We recently upgraded to Windows 10, and unfortunately a bug in the driver has forced us to switch from our Workcentre's device-specific driver to Xerox's Global Print Driver. Now the same issue is happening with the Global Print Driver, only changing the Original Document Size in the driver to "Mixed Size" doesn't let Nitro recognize changes to the "Output Paper Size," so we're back at square one.
</p>

<p>
	The obvious workaround is to manually set the paper input AND output sizes in printer properties under the advanced size settings. This would be fine if the extra steps involved didn't frustrate half my users and confuse the other half. Is there any way to force Nitro to use the printer's output paper size?
</p>

<p>
	As a side note, no other program seems to have this issue forcing the correct paper size in the printer's driver, tested with several MS Office programs, Adobe Acrobat Reader, Firefox and Chrome.

<p>
	I'm trying to print to Nitro PDF from Autocad, but the auto-populated file name is only 6 characters long regardless of the file name of the AutoCAD document. This is a big time waster as my AutoCAD file names are &gt; 20 characters and to type each one by hand is frustrating.  Is there an option somewhere to change this?
</p>

<p>
	Thanks,
