<p>
	My Nitro Pro 11 has turned to evaluation mode, it had valid license...<br />
	Activation process says can't reactivate because SN is used in another machine. I believe this issue happened after a recent Windows 10 update but it's only my guess.
</p>

<p>
	The facts are:
</p>

<ol><li>
		I purchased a license that does not work anymore
	</li>
	<li>
		I can't reactivate the serial number
	</li>
	<li>
		I have a software insurance
	</li>
	<li>
		I submitted 2 tickets (one last week, one today) without any reply

	For some reason anytime I open or save documents Nitro takes forever.  It goes into, "not responding" for a 3-5 minutes but eventually it will open up the folder. Then once I select the file I want or type the name of the new file, it takes another few minutes once I click open/save.  
</p>

<p>
	<strong>What can I do to fix this issue?  </strong>
</p>

<p>
	I have no other issues with other programs accessing my folders, opening, or saving documents. 
</p>

<p>
	I have rebooted many times with no difference.

	Hello and thanks for helping.

<p>
	I brought up Nitro Pro 11 (11.0.3.134) today and the toolbars looked, as I remember it, like they did when I first installed. The Quick Access toolbar was above not below the ribbon and none of my Favorite Tools - or any other tools for that matter - appeared on the ribbon. It's never happened before.
</p>

<p>
	I'll recreate what I had as best I can. I'm not worried about that. And I'll do a screenshot so if it happens again, I can quickly restore what I had. But I'd rather it <em><strong>not</strong></em> happen again. And I'd like to know what it <em><strong>did</strong></em> happen.
</p>

<p>
	Has anyone else had the problem and/or is it something I should report?
</p>

	Hi All,

	I installed Nitro Pro 11 trial version for a client and it expired. Client bought a license for Nitro Pro 11 and when I went to activate I got the error "Security bypass attempted - product must be reauthorized".
</p>

	I tried uninstalling Nitro completely using the cleanup tool available <a href="http://install.nitropdf.com/support/tools/" rel="external nofollow">here</a> and installed it again but it didn't help. I checked  the support forums and googled quite a bit, there was reference to this error anywhere and I even tried to submit a ticket but to my bad luck the 'Submit' button on the website didn't work so I started messing around with the other support tools available <a href="http://install.nitropdf.com/support/tools/" rel="external nofollow">here</a> and found the 'Alternate License Manager' that fixed it.
</p>

<p>
	<u><strong>The Fix</strong></u>:
</p>

<p>
	1. Download the alternate license manager from <a href="http://install.nitropdf.com/support/tools/" rel="external nofollow">here</a>.
</p>

<p>
	2. extract the .exe file to the C:\Program Files\Nitro\Pro 11 -- t<u>his is for 64-bit version</u>.
</p>

<p>
	3. run the .exe file and enter the serial number for Nitro and click on 'Internet Activate' button.
</p>

<p>

	5. and voilà!

	<strong>tl;dr </strong>- if you get the error like the one in the title; download the alternate license manager from <a href="http://install.nitropdf.com/support/tools/" rel="external nofollow">here</a> and run it from the Nitro installation directory and do manual 'Internet Activate' for the license number to fix the error.
</p>

<p>
	Additional info: Nitro was installed on a Server 2008 R2 terminal server. 
</p>

	Just installed Nitro Pro 11 and have a couple of documents from a client that are Forms. Both open fine in Acrobat Pro 8, but using Nitro all I get is "The printed copy expires on 31 Aug 2017 at 11:57:15 am TypeError: f is null" on every page.  Any ideas? Thanks,

	I have the latest version of nitro on a network drive. At random times nitro does not let users save a nitro pdf file not even on the desktop on the c drive after editing it. It is a weird issue. Any ideas? i have tried removing nitro completely reinstalling the latest version of nitro 10 but the issue continues. Running windows 10. Multiple users having this issue.

	Recently one of my clients had all their machines upgraded and whilst Nitro was deactivated just fine on some machines, others generated deactivation certificates that it told me to use online to finish the uninstallation. The only thing is no one seems to know what the link to the page was and my google skills cant seem to find the page either. Some of the deactivations were done during a network maintenance window and so no internet connection was present hence the certificates.

	I emailed in a ticket but got told that I would need software assurance. That's not great considering this product has been paid for. Yes its not the newest package but I should still be able to use it on new machines as it does all we need it to.

	Since upgrading to Nitro Pro 11, we seem to be having trouble editing pdf documents.  All options in the page layout tab is greyed out and looks like it is affecting PDFs that have been created from a scan.  All PDFs created electronically have been okay.

<p>
	I have checked the following:
</p>

<p>
	1 - compared scans created from our main scanner using Ezescan versus MFD scanning to email. Both scans have the same result and editing options are greyed out.<br />
	2 - scanned to PDF/A versus scanning to a general PDF.  Both scans have the same result and editing options are greyed out.<br />
	3 - security settings are set to "No Security" and existing security setting for all editing is set to "Allowed"
</p>

<p>
	Any assistance or ideas of other things to check would be most welcome.
</p>

	I have Nitro 10 having issues on one PC

	When opening certain PDFs, the computer will freeze - the whole system is unresponsive, only the mouse pointer moves. The computer must be hard booted
</p>

<p>
	If I watch Task manager as Nitro opens the PDF, I see the RAM usage skyrocket to full, and then the system freezes
</p>

	Hi, my company just upgraded me from version 10 to Nitro 11.  Now when I go to print a document, the document prints just fine, but the print dialogue window stays up on the screen as if I never hit the Print button.  I don't want to have to always hit the back arrow to get back to my document, not because I'm lazy, but b/c when I'm doing a million things at once, and it's still up there - it is deceiving so I don't always know if I've actually hit print or not.  If I'm printing to a network printer 30-50' away from my desk, I am (1) up and down often to check; and (2) wasting paper.
</p>

<p>
	See attachment showing the window that will not close after selecting the Print button.  Anyone know how to fix this?

	I reinstalled windows and reinstalled pro 10 without activating. Program worked fine except I couldn't activate. Nitro support fixed that and I opened one pdf with no problem. Rebooted computer and now all the pdf files show as they should with nitro as default. It's just that they won't open. The program doesn't open when I try from it's main icon. The task manager shows the Nirto process, but again, nothing opens. Double click and cursor circles and nada. windows 10 64bit

	I've been using NitroPDF for years and recently installed it on my new 13" HP envy. Although I don't remember it when I first started using Nitro on this computer, in the past couple of days, I noticed that at the top of the print dialog box I get a notification: "before you print...consider these easy-to-use features...". It seems to cause the font size of the entire print dialog box to become so small that I can't read it. I've altered the display resolution for other programs to correct this problem but the print dialog box in other programs doesn't have this issue. Is there anything I can do to correct this so I can read the print dialog box in Nitro?

	I had to reinstall Nitro Pro 9 on my laptop after crash.  Nitro runs fine but now can't use the print to file option.  I have followed all instructions on support to reinstall the virtual printer but get the message ((<font face="Calibri" size="3">Installation of printer driver failed)).  Is there a way to download the printer drivers again from the site?  </font>
