    Hi @Levella, Thanks for posting on our Community Forums! I have made some changes on my end for you to be able to successfully activate on your new laptop. The changes I've made will not affect your previous install. Please try to activate again on your laptop using the same serial number and let me know how it works for you. Cheers!

    Hi @tina_in_az, Thank you for your response! May I know the exact error message? Is it "Nitro Pro Setup Wizard ended prematurely because of an error. Your system has not been moidfied. To install this program at a later time, run Setup Wizard again. Click the Finish button to exit the Setup Wizard."? If yes, kindly refer to this article:

    Hi @Curt G., I went ahead and installed Nitro Pro 12.10 and created some scan profiles. After that, I downloaded Nitro Pro 12.16 and simply ran the msi file to update my existing Nitro Pro 12.10. The customized scan profiles are still there and none of them were deleted. Customized scan profiles are saved here %AppData%\Nitro\Pro\12 inside ScanProfiles folder. If you need to move your Nitro Pro to another computer or run a cleanup on your system, please ensure that you have a backup of your customized objects such as Stamps, ScanProfiles, etc. Kind regards,

    PDF Preview Issues

    Hello, When I preview a PDF in office 365, it is only letting me view 2/3 of the page. Fine when I open it totally, but not in preview mode. Any ideas on how to fix this issue please.

    Unable to install Nitro Pro 11 to new PC

    I downloaded the installer, then when the installer got to the install part I received a message that the install had failed. It's the same message that I received previously. What can I do now?

I have downloaded the latest version of the installer as listed in one of the posts from earlier this month to the link for the latest version of the 64 bit installer for Nitro Pro 11. I have tried installing it by just double-clicking it, by right-clicking and running the installer as administrator and even tried running it both ways logged in as another user. Thanks, Ray
  13. Hi, Been suing nitro for 2 months on one device. Just bought a laptop and trying to activate there, to use it (non-concurrently) but it says my nitro is already activated on 2 devices. But I only had 1 device til now. How can I find out what the 2 devices are, and choose which ones to cancel?

    new install

    I am trying to get NP on a new work laptop I can take with me and not have to lug around the larger one. I use NP 11 and have successfully installed it but it doesn't give me the option to input the serial number. All it has is an option to buy. I don't want to buy it as I bought the license package that allows me to have it on multiple systems. I'm just having trouble figuring out where to put in the serial number to activate it.
  15. Hello @Skydog64, No need to provide the v12 serial number as I found in our system. Many thanks, though. If you see both, then your program is activated and you should have access to all its features. In order for me to further assist you with your concern, could you please provide the following information?: -The exact error message you have received when you attempted to install your Nitro Pro 11 -The serial number of your Nitro Pro (to sending me a private message, hover your mouse on top of my name 'AllainU' and select 'Message'). This matters because our business installers are different from the online ones. Thank you very much in advance and I am looking forward to hearing back from you.

  18. I am receiving the following error when attempting to install Nitro Pro 11 on Windows 10 Pro X64. Windows Installer installed the product. Product Name: Nitro Pro. Product Version: 11.0.3.134. Product Language: 1033. Manufacturer: Nitro. Installation success or error status: 1603. When we attempt to install, it seems like it is going through and after the UAC prompt the install seems to progress and then just says installation failed. Thank You!

Kindly note you are receiving the error message because our record shows you were able to upgrade from Nitro Pro 10 to Nitro Pro 12 already last 30th of October 2018. With regards to unable to use Nitro Pro 12 features, could you please confirm it is activated by going to Help tab > About Nitro Pro? To confirm it is activated, you should see the serial number and the Deactivate button there. Thank you very much in advance and I am looking forward to hearing back from you.

    NP 12 Crashes upon install

    hello @JRH, My apologies if you don't get an option to upload the screenshot. To further assist you, please be informed we have identified that the cause of this issue is permission/ownership access to WindowsApps folder. Even if your Windows account is a member of Administrator group or you are logged in using administrator account, the installation will fail as the account does not have permission/ownership to access WindowsApps folder. To confirm this, here are the steps: 1. Enable the 'Hidden items' in Windows Explorer as the WindowsApps is hidden by default. 2. Go to C:\ProgramFiles\ then double click WindowsApps folder. A window will pop-up telling you that 'You don't currently have permission to access this folder' As a workaround, kindly follow these steps: 1. Carefully follow the steps up to step 7 on this KB article: http://kb.gonitro.com/knowledgebase#/search/failed/000003265 Please take note of the following: • You are required to run CMD in administrator mode. • If Windows says '-' is not recognized as an internal or external command, operable program or batch file, remove the '-' when executing the commands. The above article will allow your user account to take ownership and gain permission to access the WindowsApps folder. 2. Go back to C:\ProgramFiles\ then double click WindowsApps folder. 3. Click 'Continue' to permanently get access to this folder. 4. At this point, since your user account already have permission and ownership to the folder, clicking Continue will give you access to WindowsApps folder. 5. Close WindowsApps folder then open it again, you should no longer get the message 'You don’t currently have permission to access this folder' pop-up message. After the above steps, please clear all your downloads folder or delete all downloaded Nitro installers. This step is important because we noticed that if you are saving all the installers and you download them in the same folder (like the downloads folder), the EXE can pick up any MSI installer in that folder and you may pick-up one of the older builds instead of the newly downloaded package.proceed on installing Then install Nitro Pro 12.16 using below offline installers: x32 http://install.nitropdf.com/professional_12163574/en/retail/nitro_pro12_ba_x86.msi x64 http://install.nitropdf.com/professional_12163574/en/retail/nitro_pro12_ba_x64.msi If you are not sure which to pick, this will help: http://kb.gonitro.com/knowledgebase#/search/64/000001874 After installation, you can activate by opening Nitro Pro, clicking on the Help tab > About Nitro Pro > Activate and entering your serial number.     Duplicate tab

    More specically, I'd like to know if it is possible to make changes in the duplicated tab (for example highlight a sentence) and these to be saved in the original one (I crosscheck in-text citations with bibliography in University essays, that's why I want to be able to highlight). An alterntive method I have found is to extract the pages I am interested in (i.e. the bibliography) in another tab, but it's not quite what I need because I cannot save changes in the original pdf document. I hope I have made clear what I am looking for.
  27. Just reinstalled Nitro 12 after a laptop rebuild. Currently cannot use all the features of the software & the when trying to upgrade, doesn't recognize my serial # ! Help! Peter
