This is not really a question but more distribution of information I've been having issues with AutoCAD creating comments from text based objects. This has lead uers complaining of larger PDF file sizes, slow performance of viewers and creators. After some investiagtion I found a thread relating to a system varible which stops Auotcad creating comments when using the native DWGtoPDF.pc3 converter. In AutoCAD, Type EPDFSHX at the command line and set it to 0. You need to have latest service packs installed.
