  1. This has been an issue for some time, and the copy & paste comments by reps is not helping. Do you have an estimate when this will be fixed? Very tiresome.

  2. Hava a licensed and activated copy of Nitro pro v. 13.9.1.155. Every time I start get an "Error 401" and have to click through to proceed, annoying to say the least. Have tried updating and uninstalling and reinstalling to no avail. Also have to log in to Nitro online either a) before using app or b) before using any online feature like signing no matter whether I check the "remember me" check box or not.

  3. I'm wondering if anyone has ever gotten a fix for this issue? It is the most annoying thing ever! This issue and the "close all tabs" question going away has made me really dislike using this product. My whole office uses it and it makes our work day a little bit harder. We have version 11.0.7.425.

  4. Hi Leslie, Thanks for your reply. I've downloaded the latest version but installed it not yet. Completely uninstalling would remove the Nitro PDF printer driver from my system as well. But this printer is set as my standard printer for AutoCAD where a lot of drawing layouts are connected to. This would cause to a lot of work, adjusting a new printer. This is quit different to other "normal" programs. You should change back your update procedure to automatic in-program updates. Completely uninstalling followed by re-installing the new version is not user-friendly.

  6. I have been a Nitro Pro user for several years now and recently purchased a new computer. I wrongly believed that all I had to do was install the trial version and enter my NP 12 code and be working. Instead I am being sent in circles to deactivate and activate and being told my serial number is no good (I have the original email to prove purchase). Now I find that I can't get support from the company unless I upgrade to a VIP. Seriously? Can I get either some help on using what I paid for or a good alternative to Nitro Pro, in which case I will never bother this company or forum again.

  7. Thank you AllainU for your kind response. I certainly do not want to pay to get this fixed. I already have a program that has never worked. It would be stupid to double down and pay the company again when I only need it to work as advertised. As a workaround, you suggest installing an older version. You say "workaround" as in a way to get it working for now until an update will fix the problem? or do they never intend to fix the problem for current users? Thanks, Jon

  9. I am using NitroPro It always wants to save a new PDF in the Documents folder where my earlier version of Nitro saved to the last used location. If I'm doing several prints, it gets very tedious to have to navigate back to the correct place. I found the option in the Preferences to check the box "Always save the last locations ..." and checked it and still will not go to my last location, just always goes to Documents. Is there another setting somewhere that I missed?

  10. How do I send a fillable PDF form for completion by invitee before signing. The signature request is the easy part. The Fillable form cannot be filled by the invitee (seems like only the sender can fill the form) This form needs to be filled by my client with their details. Please advise Regards, Latha

  11. Hi, I'm getting this error every time I startup Nitro Pro https://share.getcloudapp.com/ApuLejrr Version 13.2.2.25 Not sure how to fix this. Did a reinstall and that didn't resolve it. It seems to still work fine, but I get this error every time it opens up. Thanks.

  13. I have a document that needs to include some choices for the signer. When adding the document as a template I tried using check boxes but they show on the document as needed to be checked to complete the signing. I don't see a radio button option in the template options. How do I create a template that has single choice options for signature?

  14. Hi there, I used to use DocuSign to get customer signature for paperwork that need to be submitted to city government for approval. DocSign provided this certificate of completion together with the time stamp on the signed document. Now that I switched to Nitro Cloud to collect customer's signature, I can only find the 'audit trail' of the document, but cannot find anything that is similar to the certificate of completion in DocuSign. Is such thing exist in Nitro Cloud? How can I proof the digital authentication of the signature with Nitro Cloud? Thank you! Joy

  15. I am either blind or I am shocked that this very basic feature has been overlooked. If there is an option to view current document dimensions and resize them, could someone please point it out? If not, I would like to please request this very basic functionality be added. I don't mean 'crop', I mean 'resize' a document from one standard size to another (e.g. foolscape to A4). Thanks

I'm using Nitro Pro 12.16.3.574 downloaded from https://www.gonitro.com/nps/product-details/downloads Until this update I had no issues, but afterwards, every time I open a PDF scanned from my printer, automatically this happens: Folder named "blob_storage" appears in My Documents Folder named "GPUCache" appears in My Documents File named "debug.log" appears in folder where the PDF file is being opened and sometimes also on My Documents I tried deleting the folders/files and they do not reappear on the computer until I open the next PDF with Nitro.   18. I originally started with the free Nitro software and decided to upgrade to Pro (12.0.0.112) last week. To my surprise, all menus and icons of the user interface are blurry. Also the documents are blurry. This is surprising as the free version has crisp text in the UI and the documents loaded. Can anyone tell me how to correct this issue with Pro? I have a screenshot but couldn't figure out how to attach it to this post.

  19. I have already purchased Nitro and have my license number HOWEVER when I go through the steps to set up the Nitro Cloud account I NEVER receive the verification email. So I am stuck in limbo here. I have tried to contact Nitro BUT because I don't have a verified account I can not submit a ticket. No one answers the messages I leave on their phone number. I have even emailed their sales team and they told me to ask Cleverbridge who then sent me back to Nitro because Nitro is responsible for the email verification! I have paid for a product I can not use or find out how to use. Does ANYON

  20. This is exactly what I'm trying to figure out how to do . . . I have a form (a timecard) which we want to email (and/or text) to an employee for them to complete (enter dates/hours they worked) and sign, then have it sent (automatically) to the approval email address for signature, which then sends the completed form to our payroll email address. When I up;oad the form in NitroPro is shows the fields as we placed them, but when I select to send it to an email address the form fields are gone. We also have an employment application we would like to do the same thing with but am at a loss as to

  21. I'm knew to Nitro but I LOVE it so far. I am creating a form fillable packet for our new hires. Yes, we still make them fill out employee paperwork. I would like to email the packet to them and have them fill the forms out AND sign them. I can't figure out how to allow them to do both at the same time. I can email them the forms to fill out and send back to me and then I send them back with a request for signature. I'm using myself as the test subject. Is there a way to allow them to do both at the same time and then send back to me? Thanks to all!

  22. Hello, I've gone through quite a few "fixes" to activate my license on a new computer, but everything has me running in circles between activation pages and license checks. I have a new computer and no access to the old computer (dead). But every time I put in my serial number, Nitro says it is invalid. Please help. Thanks. Jose

  23. It it possible to reverse the order of the pages in a fairly large document (280 pages)? The document in question consists of chronologically ordered short (1 page) reports with the latest last. It would be much easier for readers to refer to the later documents without having to scroll down through the entire document or delve the bookmarks. I have come across the need to do this with other documents too. I can't see a feature in the software - but maybe I just can't find it or its an unusual thing to do. Thank you.

  24. In former NitroPro versions I was able to check for updates from the menu bar. It seems this is not longer available 🤔 That's why I've checked your website for available updates for my NitroPro 13.13.2.242 and found a newer version 13.16.2.300. But an additional note is warning that this update is for Online Customers only. What does it mean? Could I always download and install such updates since I own a NitroPro 13 licence or not?

  25. Hi Leslie, Thanks for your reply. I've downloaded the latest NitroPro13 version and tried to install it without un-installing my current registered version. Unfortunately the setup failed and has been terminated with an error. Firstly the download started but then it said: "Fehler beim Setup-Assistenten für Nitro Pro" (Error with setup assistant of Nitro Pro). BTW, when originally installing Pro13 64bit, I used a msi file with about 207 MB in size, not a setup exe with about 2 MB.   26. I am using Nitro Pro 11 and until the other day the program would ask me if I wanted to close just the current document or all documents when clicking the X in the upper right corner... I accidentally turned it off, and now I don't know how to turn it back on. I work with many files open and only want to close them one at a time. I have looked through all the settings that I can find and don't see anything. Help? Thank you!

  27. Why upgrade to Nitro 13 if 12 is not working. I have uninstalled reinstalled this too often to mention is there a fix to keep Nitro from crashing? I could really use some suggestions. It seems to be getting worse. I view edit and create PDF through out every day. If i cant get this to work i going to have to move on to a different product.

  28. I had been using Adobe Acrobat for some time and I found the zoom to selected area feature very useful. I believe it would be a very useful addition to Nitro Pro. Personally, I found it a very efficient way of zooming and focusing in certain area in a drawing.

  29. Regarding security issues noted on https://www.gonitro.com/nps/security/updates, it appears a security update was finally released last week, but for v13 only. We have Nitro Pro v12 for a few of our users, (licenses which are still active and have been purchased in the past year). Issue is it appears our serial number will not allow v13 to activate. Is Nitro forcing users on v12 to be stuck with these security vulnerabilities even though they have an active license? Please advise. If our serial is unable to activate for v13, or if we are not provided a new license, we will be switching to Adob

  30. Every time i create a quick access toolbar with my favorite commands it only holds active until there is an update or something then the toolbar reverts back to Nitro default....why is this? And can i make a backup of the quick access tools i use so i don't keep loosing them?

  34. I am getting the SAME exact problems cited by Remus and Ian. VERY slow opening of PDF files. Even tiny 24 kb PDFs take almost 30 seconds to launch program and open. Files open faster when Nitro program is already open, but leaving Nitro constantly open is NOT a solution. As Remus states, "when it opens, I can see, for a few good seconds, only the margins of the program (the toolbars), the middle being occupied by Windows's File Explorer." This has been occurring since I purchased and installed Nitro Pro 13 on Dec. 31. Completely unacceptable. Now, I am also getting the init

  37. Hi, in contrast to almost every program I know, NitroPDF 13 won't close if you put your cursor into the upper right edge and click. You have to be a bit lower and aim for that button. Same is with the whole titlebar. Kind of annoying, would be nice to fix that in the future! Windows10x64 Thanks, Josh

  38. I have the same issue with Nitro Pro 12.16.3.574 which is very annoying. Whenever I open a PDF with scanned content, an empty debug.log file is created. I created the registry entry as mentioned by Steven Zakulec above, but still the same.

  39. I have found a partial solution to this problem (which is caused by the OCR Engine integration into Nitro Pro). Go to "File" -> "Preferences" -> "Conversion" -> "Advanced text recovery" and untick "Automatically OCR image based documents before conversion" at the bottom. Seems to work for both conversion of images as well as direct scanning into Nitro Pro but does (on my PC) cause "Not responding" error messages during the conversion process. Not an entirely satisfactory outcome, so I will be looking for a refund on this software.

Follow-up of ticket 00207843 that is closed as agreed. @AllainU, sorry to contact you again, but out of sheer luck, I have been able to pinpoint the exact conditions that make the folder "blob_storage" and "GPUCache" folders to appear on My Documents. Today the folders were there after I opened Nitro. I had just converted an email from Outlook to PDF. I retraced the steps and was able to duplicate it. It only happens in this conditions: 1) Select an email in Outlook 2) Specifically use the toolbar command Nitro Pro > Create PDF > From selected PD

  43. We have having the same issue. Just upgraded multiple clients to Nitro Pro 12.16.3.574 and opening a file on a network share results in the creation of a debug.log file. The file is 0KB in size. Has anyone found a solution?

  45. Having given up on this and reverted back to Nitro 10 for trouble free use, I then received a response from Leslie V. with a suggestion which worked for me. This is on Windows 10 64 bit with all updates - Right click on Nitro program file (or shortcut icon), Open Properties -> Compatability-> Change High DPI setting-> check box against High DPI Scaling Override. Worked for me!

  46. For a time, Nitro Pro only supported multiple files in separate tabs in a single window. Eventually they added a feature to create separate windows by dragging tabs outside of the initial Nitro Pro window, which is a step in the right direction. But I always prefer to have multiple files in separate windows, so always having to drag tabs out of a window is a chore. Could you please add an option under Preferences so that multiple PDF files always open in separate windows by default? - Simon

  47. Okay, I've re-tested this on Nitro 10 & 11, and the directions below should let you do this without issue. Depending on if you have a text form field, or a more general box with text, there's two separate ways (it's the same for Nitro 10 & 11). For text form fields: Under Forms, click Select Fields, and select your text field. Under the General section on the left, there's a Rotate option. This allows for 90 degree rotations left or right, and resetting back to 0 degrees. The other way is to use the Edit button- if you see a blue box around the text when you click on t

  48. I am having a different problem with the latest version - Nitro Pro 11 (which, by the way, will be the last version that I purchase). First, I had to purchase the latest version to obtain a security update because your company did not offer a security update to Nitro Pro 10 - which is in no way obsolete. I had enjoyed using Nitro Pro 10 until I heard about the security issues - and then found that I had to pay for the update. This is NOT SATISFACTORY. Second, when I attempt to use the "Sign in" link in the upper right hand corner of Nitro Pro, a large window opens covering the entire screen. I
