Simon Robinson
For nitro pro 12 it will start automatically upon Windows startup. However, there is nothing in the registry about it and task manager does not have it either. Is there another location or setting that would control application startup? I would like to prevent this from happening.
Official Nitronaut Reymund G. Posted August 12, 2020 Official Nitronaut Report Share Posted August 12, 2020 Hi @Simon Robinson, Thank you for reaching out to us through our Community Forums! When you install Nitro Pro 12, it should not automatically launch the application upon Windows restart/startup. Are you referring to the application or the Nitro Pro icon located at the Windows taskbar near the Window clock section? Kind regards.
Simon Robinson
The application will open by itself when Windows starts. There is never an icon in the toolbar for the program.
Official Nitronaut Reymund G. Posted August 12, 2020 Official Nitronaut Report Share Posted August 12, 2020 Hello @Simon Robinson, What is the exact build of your Nitro Pro 12? You can locate this information by going to Help tab > About Nitro Pro. The latest build of Nitro Pro 12 is 12.16, and if you are not on the build, I recommend to update your installation. The Nitro Pro 12 .16 can be downloaded from the following location: 32bit - http://install.nitropdf.com/professional_12163574/en/retail/nitro_pro12_ba_x86.msi 64bit - http://install.nitropdf.com/professional_12163574/en/retail/nitro_pro12_ba_x64.msi If you are not sure whether to download the 32bit or the 64bit, check the link below:https://kb.gonitro.com/knowledgebase/#/search/bit/000003790 After the update to 12.16 build, restart your computer then see if the application will restart or not.
