Official Nitronaut Allain Umailin Posted August 18, 2020 Official Nitronaut Report Share Posted August 18, 2020 Hello @Matthew Smith, Thank you for reaching out to us through our Community Forums! To further assist you, please clear all your downloads folder or delete all downloaded Nitro installers. This step is important because we noticed that if you are saving all the installers and you download them in the same folder (like the downloads folder), the EXE can pick up any MSI installer in that folder and you may pick-up one of the older builds instead of the newly downloaded package. Then download and install Nitro Pro 13.16 using below offline installers: x32 http://install.nitropdf.com/professional_13220414/en/retail/nitro_pro13_ba_x86.msi x64 http://install.nitropdf.com/professional_13220414/en/retail/nitro_pro13_ba_x64.msi If you are not sure which to pick, this will help: https://kb.gonitro.com/knowledgebase#/search/64/000003790 After installation, you can activate by opening Nitro Pro, clicking on the Help tab > About Nitro Pro > Activate by entering your serial number Thank you for choosing Nitro and I hope this helps. Matthew Smith
Thank you for your answer. I tried using the x64 offline installer from your post and received the same result. This time the error message reads: "Nitro Pro Setup Wizard ended prematurely because of an error. Your system has not been modified. To install this program at a later time, run Setup Wizard again. Click the Finish button to exit the Setup Wizard." Is there anything else I can try to get this working?
Matthew Smith
I am running Windows 10 on a 64 bit Dell Optiplex 790.
Official Nitronaut Allain Umailin Posted August 18, 2020 Official Nitronaut Report Share Posted August 18, 2020 Hello @Matthew Smith, If running our MSI installer is still causing the same error message, I believe this has something to do with limited permission in folder 'C:\Program Files\WindowsApps' which is also hidden. To further assist you, please properly follow each steps in this article until step 9: https://kb.gonitro.com/knowledgebase/#/search/failed/000003595 Then run again the MSI installer you have downloaded to install Nitro Pro 13. Thank you very much in advance and I am looking forward to hearing back from you.
Matthew Smith
Fixed the permissions issue per the instructions in the knowledge base article and still cannot get the installer to work. It is giving me the same error. I even deleted the installer and re-downloaded from your link. Any other suggestions?
