Nitro Pro 11 - Unable to activate

I have a valid Nitro Pro 11 activation code, but for some reason the software is asking me to fill it in (it was previously activated) and it's not working.  I understand that support hs ended for this version, but that doesn't mean it should be automatically disabled, it should at least allow me to use it in it's current form (but receive no updates, etc).  Please can you tell me why the software automatically de-activated me and now refuses to let me activate it again ?

Your machine may have processed a Windows update which made the software revert to expire trial mode. 
Please provide the serial number you use to activate the software so we could check its record and do necessary adjustment when needed.

Hi @Roydon Michael,

I have made an adjustment on your license. Please try to activate again by going to the Help tab  > About Nitro Pro > Activate.
Enter the serial number then click on Activate.
