Active tile sorting and management make product almost unusable

Having recently switched to Nitro from Adobe I find it unbelievable that each time i open a new file, the placement of the existing files shifts in what seems to be no consistent or logical pattern.  In the normal world, when a person opens a new file, it opens adjacent to the most recently opened file, but not in Nitro. 

I cannot seem to find any help on how to sort this out.  It's a good product if you're working with only 1 or 2 open files but if you have 5 or more open, its a disaster.  

Please help.
