Nigel Flowers
Hi All, There seems to be a limit on the maximum number of files I can tag and open from windows explorer - which is 15 - if I tag 16 then the open option from the right click menu is not shown. Anyone know if the limit is correct or a bug ? Can the limit be increased ? Thanks, Nigel.
Official Nitronaut Allain Umailin Posted October 2, 2020 Official Nitronaut Report Share Posted October 2, 2020 Hello @Nigel Flowers, Thank you for reaching out to us through our Community Forums! Is this only happening with PDF files? Have you also tried selecting .txt and Word documents if Open context menu is also missing? Thank you very much in advance and I am looking forward to hearing back from you.
Nigel Flowers
Opps, it appears that this is a Windows limitation as I have the same issue with opening multiple word/excel files. thanks for your help, Nigel.
Nigel Flowers
In fact just found this workaround which has solved the issue for me : Open regedit and navigate to: HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer Add this case-sensitive DWORD (32-bit) key: MultipleInvokePromptMinimum Set the value to 16 16 is not a hard number, but actually indicates "unlimited", so putting in 17 probably will not work.
