debug log popping up win10 latest NP12[lastversion]

G'day debug logs  0 byte ones popping up on desktop

seem to happen when deleting pages in PDFs-

i.e deleting blank pages before printing

This was happening back in 2107 version 11

on a search this site

any clues / fixes anyone?

I note theres a fix -

.."This is known issue with 12.16 where it generates a 'debug. log' when opening scanned PDFs.

As a work-around, open up Nitro Pro and go to,

"File > Preferences > Notifications" and uncheck the option, "Show In-Product Messages"...

has this been fixed???

I'll try that anyway.

Thank you for the private message.

After checking our resources, this is a known issue with 12.16 where it generates a 'debug.log' when opening scanned PDFs and you are already aware of the work-around.

This behavior has been fixed with the release of Nitro Pro 13 and if you are interested in upgrading your Nitro Pro 12, could you please share a copy of the invoice for this purchase?

Dear AllainU  Thanks so much for offer ..I really  didnt like what NP had become in 13 apart from slow down

and it was too much of everyhting [features] that i didnt actually need when what I really needed a low featured

version a like 11 and 12  which does all that I do actually  need.   

A cut down version of NP with essential  delete, extract pages, convert pages to  etc all the things

optimise and edit add password.

I,e  what adobe reader desnt do  and without all the business stuff  would be a worthwhile addition and fix the

scroll slider tab contrast too esp when its very small wiht many paged pdfs which i gather is still not fixed.

I can live with the debug issue with this work around. Many thanks for geting back to me so promptly.

i will continue with 12 for now thanks. 🙂
