Currently, you can add custom metadata to the PDF. However, this can only be done per PDF document and if you have multiple documents that you want to add the same metadata to, you have to manually add it to each document. We recieve a lot of documents and would like to utilise metadata to add reference information depending on the type of document such as an invoice without adding it directly to the document. There are 2 ways I can see this being done, 1. To be able to save custom metadata fields within Nitro itself so users can just select the fields they need or 2. Have/create & save metadata templates such as Adobe Acrobat has.
This would really allow companies to transition from paperbased systems to digital without investing into costly archiving/document management systems from the onset.
