Michael Wish Posted October 20, 2020 Report Posted October 20, 2020 I purchased Nitro Pro 12 in August 2019. Recently I started seeing the 401 error that a lot of people were getting. According to this forum, downloading Nitro Pro 13 is the way to solve that problem. However, my serial number will not allow me to activate Nitro Pro now and I also can't seem to find out how to download the 12 version. Please help!

I have checked your account records and I can see you purchased Nitro Pro 12. I am wondering if you have a patching software that auto-upgraded your program to Nitro Pro 13. A patching software scans computers and will push-out updates to computers and the software therein it finds that need updating. If you have such software installed, Nitro Pro could be listed there to keep it updated without you noticing. Below are patching softwares we have encountered so far as culprits: -Shavlik program -GFI LanGuard -F-Secure -Glarysoft Software Update To check your system if any of above is installed, please go to Control Panel \ Programs \ Programs and Features.
