J P Posted November 3, 2020 Report Posted November 3, 2020 I would like to upgrade my Nitro 12 to the latest version at a discount, but then use the old Nitro 12 license on a different computer. Is this possible? What are the steps?
Official Nitronaut Allain Umailin Posted November 3, 2020 Official Nitronaut Report Posted November 3, 2020 Hello @J P, Thank you for reaching out to us through our Community Forums! If you are interested in upgrading your license to Nitro Pro 13 with a discounted rate, kindly access our Upgrade Portal and enter your Nitro Pro 12 serial number: https://www.gonitro.com/pro/upgrade When an upgrade happens, the older version gets deactivated on our end and users are provided with a new license to match their upgrade version. This means you can no longer use your Nitro Pro 12. How many computers you need to have Nitro Pro installed? Thank you very much in advance and I am looking forward to hearing back from you.
J P Posted November 3, 2020 Author Report Posted November 3, 2020 2 Computers, so was hoping to just buy 1 new at discounted rate then have the old one to still use
Official Nitronaut Allain Umailin Posted November 3, 2020 Official Nitronaut Report Posted November 3, 2020 Hello @J P, Thank you for this information. Nitro Pro 12 and 13 are considered as a single-user license which means they can be used on two machines as long as you follow the rules outlined in our End User License Agreement (EULA): 'Licensee may install one copy of the Licensed Software on a single computer. The primary user of the computer on which the Licensed Software is installed may install a second copy of the software for his or her exclusive use on either a portable computer or a computer located at his or her home, provided the software on the portable or home computer is NOT USED at the same time as the software on the primary computer.' Thank you for choosing Nitro and I hope this helps.
