Daniel Josefiak Posted November 5, 2020 Report Share Posted November 5, 2020 Hello, I am assisting a user who is currently having trouble with Nitro 13.26.3.505. We recently had to reload the PC and everything on it. When we installed Nitro, it began having freezing issues. Initially we thought it was just when she was opening PDF's from Sage, but we also realized it was locking up when opening Nitro itself. It takes about 10-15 seconds as soon as it opens before it can be interacted with again. Sometimes it altogether freezes, and when opening PDF's, even from within Nitro, it takes about the same amount of time or altogether stops responding. We've tried opening in Adobe reader and the PDF's work fine in there. We've tried reinstalling Nitro and also running a repair on it, but neither option seems to have helped the issue. Other users have been using the same version of Nitro and haven't been having the same issue this user is having, and the files they access are the same. Is there anything else we can look into to see what may be causing the freezes for this particular user's PC? Thank you Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

We found the invoices were on a network location and they are opening slow in both Nitro and Adobe. When we made local copies they worked well.
