Brian Watson 0 Report post Posted November 9, 2020 Hi there. I am working with an organization that has a number of v11 and v12 licenses but poor records for serial numbers. I'm downloaded LicenseCheck from the tools section but I don't seem to have Filechck.dll when I run it. Can I download that from somewhere? Also, do I have to run different versions of LicenseCheck to find licenses for v11 and v12 or will they all be picked up? Can you use a v11 license on v12 software (I assume not)? Reymund G. 0 Report post Posted November 9, 2020 Hi @Brian Watson, Thank you for reaching out to us through our Community Forums! The filechck.dll is not included when you download the LicenseCheck tool, it is stored and found inside the Nitro Pro installation directory. Nitro Pro 12: For 32bit install - C:\Program Files (x86)\Nitro\Pro\12 For 64bit install - C:\Program Files\Nitro\Pro\12 Nitro Pro 11: For 32bit install - C:\Program Files (x86)\Nitro\Pro\11 For 64bit install - C:\Program Files\Nitro\Pro\11 Each Nitro Pro version has specific licensecheck tool. 32bit Nitro Pro 12 LicenseCheck - https://install.nitropdf.com/support/downloads/v12/32-bit/LicenseCheck.exe 64bit Nitro Pro 12 LicenseCheck - https://install.nitropdf.com/support/downloads/v12/64-bit/LicenseCheck.exe 32bit Nitro Pro 11 LicenseCheck - https://install.nitropdf.com/support/downloads/v11/32-bit/LicenseCheck.exe 64bit Nitro Pro 11 LicenseCheck - https://install.nitropdf.com/support/downloads/v11/64-bit/LicenseCheck.exe When executing the LicenseCheck tool, please ensure that the LicenseCheck.exe tool and the filechck.dll are on the same directory. Regarding the license, a Nitro Pro license will only work based on its version. Example: A version 12 serial number will only work on a Nitro Pro 12 installation. Brian Watson 0 Report post Posted November 11, 2020 Thanks for your help. I have discovered 21 licenses - 15 for v11 and 6 for v12. Can you help me understand the teams licensing model vs upgrading all 21 licenses to the current version?
Reymund G. 0 Report post Posted November 11, 2020 (edited) Hi @Brian Watson, Could you please tell if these licenses are purchased by a single person/account? Or, it is purchased individually? You can also share the serial numbers you found through private message so I could check their records. To send a private message, mouse hover my profile then click the 'Message' link.
