Error 23 - License Number Already Used

Hello,

I deactivated Nitro Pro 11 from an old laptop and installed it on a new laptop. It was working fine then 2 months later the user received a notice that the trial version is going to expire in 1 day. I tried to active Nitro Pro 11 and received 23-error. Please advise.

In order to further assist you, could you please provide the serial number of your Nitro Pro 11?

To send it via private message, hover your mouse on top of my name 'AllainU' and select 'Message'.

This matters because our business installers are different from the online ones.

Before continuing, please be aware that Nitro Pro 11 or older are already discontinued as documented in our Sunset Policy: https://www.gonitro.com/support/sunset-policy . With that, support for the discontinued versions are no longer available. 

If you are interested in upgrading your license to Nitro Pro 13 with a discounted rate, kindly access our Upgrade Portal and enter your Nitro Pro 11 serial number: https://www.gonitro.com/pro/upgrade 

You should then receive an email confirmation with a new serial number to activate Nitro Pro 13 and to know more about some enhancements and fixes with Nitro Pro 13, please visit our Release Notes page https://www.gonitro.com/nps/product-details/release-notes 

In addition to that and many other feature improvements, version 13 also contains some important security vulnerabilities fixes that you might want to consider when deciding whether to upgrade to it or not. You can find out more about these fixes here:  https://www.gonitro.com/nps/security/updates 


However if you prefer working with an older version and as a courtesy, I just made an adjustment on your license, so you can now activate your copy of Nitro Pro by going to Help tab > About Nitro Pro > Activate, entering your serial number and clicking Activate.

Thank you so much for your help!

We may choose to stay with 11 for now, thank you for making the adjustment for us.

We also have a Nitro Pro 10 that did the same thing about a month ago and we just used uninstall the program and installed Nitro Pro 11. If we need to use the Nitro Pro 10 at some point would you be able to make the adjustment for us?

To further assist you, I just made an adjustment on your license, so you can now activate your copy of Nitro Pro by going to Help tab > About Nitro Pro > Activate, entering your serial number and clicking Activate.

Hi Allain,

Thank you for helping us in the passed with an activation error for Nitro Pro 10 when transferring to another computer and making an adjustment for activation.

  I will be uninstalling Nitro 10 on a desktop on Thursday 4/29/21 and installing it on a laptop the same day. I was wondering if you will be able to assist again by making the adjustment for the activation?

Instead of making adjustments and as a courtesy of being a valuable customer of Nitro, we want to make you aware of the change to your product that may affect its activation performance (e.g. -20: Error - Invalid license number or -24 Error: Activation Error). 

To continue offering our customers the very best PDF tools, we have upgraded our servers and has shutdown the one their older version of Nitro Pro runs on so please just update them to Nitro Pro 12.16.9.574 using below direct MSI links:

x32 http://install.nitropdf.com/professional_12169574/en/vlp/nitro_pro12_x86.msi 
x64 http://install.nitropdf.com/professional_12169574/en/vlp/nitro_pro12_x64.msi

After installation, you can activate by opening Nitro Pro, clicking on the Help tab > About Nitro Pro > Activate by entering the same version 10 serial number 23460x-xxxxxx-130073
