-23 error activating

Not sure whether it was a windows update or what, but Nitro Pro 12 went to Expired Trial mode.

Trying to activate give a 23 License Number already in Use.

I followed the link to deactivate and it said it successfully deactivated.  But still doesn't work.

I also uninstall/reinstalled.  No help.

Tried to deactivate again, but it says it can't because there are 0 activations.  But I still get the same error trying to activate.

Also, having to post to this board to get some support is ridiculous.

In order to further assist you, could you please provide the serial number of your Nitro Pro 12?

To send it via private message, hover your mouse on top of my name 'AllainU' and select 'Message'.

This matters because our business installers are different from the online ones.

Thank you for the private message.

On the machine you're having issue activating, I just made an adjustment on your license, so you can now activate your copy of Nitro Pro by going to Help tab > About Nitro Pro > Activate, entering your serial number and clicking Activate.

Our record shows you are experiencing an issue activating the license is because the computer that the software was installed on did not generate a proper Computer ID (which is a Nitro-specific ID, which generates a unique Computer ID for each computer that the software is installed on). Instead, a Computer ID of all '0's was generated.

Unable to activate my Nitro Pro.  I have a valid serial.  I went through the activation process. Submitted a ticket. found the license, verified the license.  Plugged the serial# in but I get an error.  I know the serial# exist but this is the message I get:

"The serial number you entered does not exist.
Click 'back' and make sure that you have entered the serial number correctly.
If you still encounter the problems, please contact support via the link below: 'submit a support request' "

I went through this process several times.  It does not work.

Please let me know how else to proceed.

To further assist you, I just made an adjustment on your license, so you can now activate your copy of Nitro Pro 12 by going to Help tab > About Nitro Pro > Activate, entering your serial number and clicking Activate.

Thank you for reaching out to us through our Community Forums and our sincere apologies for the delay.

Please be informed that 'The serial number entered does not exist' means the serial number you are trying to activate is for a different version of Nitro Pro. Looks like we need to uninstall the current version of Nitro Pro on your computer and install Nitro Pro 11. We then activate it using your serial number. Kindly follow these steps:
 
1. Uninstall Nitro Pro from your computer by going to Control Panel > Programs > Programs and Features then reboot the machine.

2. Please clear all your downloads folder or delete all downloaded Nitro installers. This step is important because we noticed that if you are saving all the installers and you download them in the same folder (like the downloads folder), the EXE can pick up any MSI installer in that folder and you may pick-up one of the older builds instead of the newly downloaded package.

3. Download your Nitro Pro 11 using these offline link/s:

x64-bit: http://install.nitropdf.com/professional_1108470/en/burn/nitro_pro11_ba_x64.msi 
x32-bit: http://install.nitropdf.com/professional_1108470/en/burn/nitro_pro11_ba_x86.msi

4. After installation, you can activate by opening Nitro Pro, clicking on the Help tab > About Nitro Pro > Activation and entering your serial number.

 

Please be aware that Nitro Pro 11 or older are already discontinued as documented in our Sunset Policy: https://www.gonitro.com/support/sunset-policy . With that, support for the discontinued versions are no longer available.  

If you are interested in upgrading your license to Nitro Pro 13 with a discounted rate, kindly access our Upgrade Portal and enter your Nitro Pro 11 serial number: https://www.gonitro.com/pro/upgrade

Hello, I get the same error when I try to activate my old Nitro Pro 6.1.2.1 on a new PC.  I know this is a very very ancient version, but is good enough for my simple tasks.

I did deactivate previous activations using the link https://licenses.gonitro.com/prd/portal, which now shows zero number of activations for my license number 234601xxx927.  The status of the license number shows "active".  I can provide the full license number through a secure communication if needed.
