nitro pro 8 now auto closing on windows 10

HI for some reason this past year, nitro pro 8 will automatically close when trying ot open pdfs.  In order to reopen I have to go to task manager and force close any instances of nitro before attempting to open the pdf again. then it works.  This happens every day.  I tried repairing and nothing worked.
