Nicholas Rizzo Posted December 15, 2020 Report Posted December 15, 2020 Can pdf documents be sent to my clients encrypted for security?
Official Nitronaut Allain Umailin Posted December 16, 2020 Official Nitronaut Report Posted December 16, 2020 Hello @Nicholas Rizzo, Thank you for reaching out to us through our Community Forums! PDF documents can be encrypted by adding a password. To know more about adding password to your PDF files before sending them, please refer to this article: https://kb.gonitro.com/knowledgebase#/search/password/000004339 Thank you for choosing Nitro and I hope this helps.
Richard Hoare Posted March 18, 2021 Report Posted March 18, 2021 This is correct when sending a PDF out from my email account. Ths biggest issues is for client data breach is via the NitroSign option. What options do you have when a client has eSigned the document we use the SMS authentication, but the Nitro system then sends the client a copy of the eSigned document unEncrypted. This exposes the client data out of the system via your email account noreply@cloud.gonitro.com Do you have any options NOT to automaticly send a copy to them via email, or attach a password to the document?
Mike Mahoney Posted April 23, 2021 Report Posted April 23, 2021 This is a concern for us too, and may prevent us from being able to use the solution.
