I was able to undo the update which restored everything but I kept getting a notification that my "trial" was over for Nitro Pro (this computer has a license). After using the support function using the license serial number, it only got me to where it asks me to deactivate it, but then it doesn't tell me where to re-input my serial number to reactivate. Jessica Letendre Posted March 18, 2021 Author Report Share Posted March 18, 2021 Thank you - I have a 64 bit and downloaded the 12 version and opened it but the install wizard said I already had newer version installed and ended the wizard prematurely. To further assist you in installing the latest version, please refer to these steps: 1. Clear the content of the directory under C:\users\your_username\Appdata\local\temp. For whatever reason, not all temp files automatically remove themselves and is NOT usually caused by Nitro Pro files. Kindly note Appdata folder is hidden and to unhide it, please refer to this article https://cybertext.wordpress.com/2012/05/29/cant-see-the-appdata-folder/ 2. Download and run our Clean Up utility to uninstall your Nitro Pro: http://install.nitropdf.com/professional_13353685/install-cleanup/install-cleanup.zip NOTE: This clean-up tool will erase any existing signature files within Nitro so please save them to another location before using the clean-up tool in order to keep them. Clear all your downloads folder or delete all downloaded Nitro installers.
