Upgrade from 10 to 13 results in corrupt files

I upgraded recently and installed on Win 10 (all updates). In opening certain pdfs I now only get a blank page and a yellow streak (which is the highlight area of the invoice.

Where do I send a screen shot or the corrupt file/
