New laptop - Can I use the same license on my desktop?

Can anyone help, after a computer crash I have tried to re install pro 12 but no matter what I do nothing works. I have asked support for help but no one has contacted me. It seems that all they want me to do is purchase a newer version.

After installation, you can activate by opening Nitro Pro, clicking on the Help tab > About Nitro Pro > Activate by entering the same serial number 234600-xxxxxx-xxx182
