Hello,

I am writing to ask about Nitro PRo and PDF viruses.

I have disabled Javascript in Nitro to help stop PDFs that may have viruses in them.

But how can I be sure a PDF is safe or is there a Nitro Sandbox mode?
I am looking for old out of print books and found several sites like project gutenburg but I want to be sure the pdf's are safe.

Is there a safe way to open a PDF or to scan one for a virus or malware?

I know Adobe Acrobat Pro and Reader now has sandbox protection for PDF's to stop virus in pdf's.

Does Nitro have similar protection?

I'm sorry we do not have a similar feature. We suggest trying Adobe reader for this specific file.
