Error -24 Activation Error (Nitro 12)

Trying to activate Nitro 12 and I'm received -24: Activation Error when attempting to activate. When I try to submit a ticket and enter my serial key it gives me the following error. 

licenses.gonitro.com please enter a valid serial number.

I recently had my hard drive replaced, but I do have my order number and serial number to provide to support if needed.

Please install the latest Nitro Pro 12 update so you can continue using your purchased license: 
https://www.gonitro.com/nps/product-details/downloads

Then activate with your Nitro Pro 12 serial number.

Thank you for your response.  I downloaded the Nitro Pro 12 file found on the referenced link above.  However, when I attempted to run it, the install Wizard failed.  Perhaps I have the wrong file?

Hello Leslie V.,

I ran the 64-bit program from the link you provided.  The wizard stated it was successful in repairing  Nitro Pro and I rebooted, as instructed.  However, when I went to activate Nitro Pro, I received the same error - 24 Activation Error.  Do I need a new activation code?

I have the same issues, tried to deactivate hosts from this link https://licenses.gonitro.com/prd/portal

and tried to register the product and it gives me error -24 activation error.

already installed  the 64 bit but still gives the same error.

Hello Neat,

This error message is related to the older builds before we updated and upgraded our servers.

Please ensure you uninstall Nitro Pro completely and remove all previously downloaded installers.

Please try reinstalling and let us know how that goes.

already tried to clean uninstall via Revo but still showing the same error, any thoughts?

Hi Leslie V.,

I uninstalled the program and installed the Nitro Pro 12 from the 64-bit link provided.  However, when I went to activate Nitro Pro, I received the same error - 24 Activation Error.  Do I need a new activation code?

Hello,

Please use the tool I have provided below to remove all files associated with Nitro Pro and reboot your system.

NOTE: This clean-up tool will erase any existing signature files within Nitro, so please save them to another location before using the clean-up tool in order to keep them.

When your system is back up, close all your open applications and install Nitro Pro 12 from the page I have provided below:

If the error message continues, please send me the serial number so I can check.

I followed your instructions above (ran the tool, rebooted and ran the Nitro Pro 12 installation), but received the message that the wizard failed.  Please advise.

Hello @Brian O

Please try the following:

  1. Clear the content of the directory under C:\users\your_username\Appdata\local\temp. For whatever reason, not all temp files automatically remove themselves and is NOT usually caused by Nitro Pro files. Kindly note Appdata folder is hidden and to unhide it, please refer to this article https://cybertext.wordpress.com/2012/05/29/cant-see-the-appdata-folder/ 
  2. Clear all your downloads folder or delete all downloaded Nitro installers. This step is important because we noticed that if you are saving all the installers and you download them in the same folder (like the downloads folder), the EXE can pick up any MSI installer in that folder and you may pick-up one of the older builds instead of the newly downloaded package.
  3. To know if you have 32-bit or 64-bit, please refer to this article:
