File Size Drastically Increases PDF File Size

The file size of PDFs drastically increase even when small changes are made to the document (such as adding or removing one line of text). I have tried using the optimization tool in Nitro as others have advised but the file sizes are still unreasonably large (a file that had ballooned up to 27,644 KB was reduces to 20,828 KB). Is there anything else that can be done to manage these files as I have many documents that need small changes added to them every so often and they have ballooned up comparable sizes or larger.

I should add that due the increased size of the PDFs, opening them takes a considerable amount of time longer (over 30 seconds) and Nitro will stop responding during this time.

In order to further assist you, could you please provide a screenshot of your 'About Nitro Pro' window under Help tab? This window should show the exact build of the program (format is 13.XX.X.XXX, e.g. 13.44.0.896). The same information is available by going to Control Panel > Programs and Features.

Lastly, could you please provide the serial number of your Nitro Pro? This matters because our business installers are different from the online ones.
