Unable to deactivate an existing licence number to activate again. Prompt says deactivate but no indication of where?

Your customer interface is absolutely dismal.   You have totally ignored the need to address most urgent customer problems by creating an obstacle course - a BOT that doesn't work, a knowledge base that is clueless.  Why?  Very disappointed at your perception of customers and the way you treat them.

Our apologies for the issue you are experiencing with the software activation. 


Could you please confirm if you are using our licensing portal at https://licenses.gonitro.com/prd/portal? 
If the answer is yes, and you get deactivation message, it is most likely that there are no active activations to deactivate. You can see this by the Number of Activations, if the value says 0 (zero), this means are no current activations to activate. 

You can proceed with installing the appropriate version of Nitro PDF Pro on your computer then activate it using your existing serial number. The installer can be located from the following location: 

https://www.gonitro.com/nps/product-details/downloads 


If you encounter an activation issue, please provide the following:

1. The exact version and build of Nitro PDF Pro. This information can be located under the Help tab > About Nitro Pro. 
2. Your Nitro PDF Pro license/serial number.

I had the same problem. Had to uninstall nitro and reinstall from the link that customer service provided. Then it worked.

Hey Reymund, i've got the same f...ing problem. After reinstall Nitro Pro 12, can't reactivate my serial Nr. Look at the picture.

Hi @Boern2,

Please ensure that you have installed the latest build of Nitro PDF Pro 12 which is 12.16.9.574
To check which version and build is installed on the computer, you can open the software then go to the Help tab > About Nitro Pro. 

If you see that you are not on 12.16.9.574 build, please install that by downloading the installer from the following location: 
https://www.gonitro.com/nps/product-details/downloads - Click the 'Download Nitro Pro 12' link 

After installing Nitro PDF Pro 12.16.9.574, the activation should proceed and not ask for a manual activation that is requiring a certificate.
