We want to make you aware of the change to your product that may affect its activation performance and to further assist you, could you please provide the serial number of your Nitro Pro 12?

To send it via private message, hover your mouse on top of my name 'AllainU' and select 'Message'.

This matters because our business installers are different from the online ones.

Hi, I have a similar problem:
I deactivated the license on the old PC, now when I try to activate on the new one I get an error: "-79: activation error"!
Manual online activation doesn't work either.
how can i solve the problem?

To continue offering our customers the very best PDF tools, we have upgraded our servers and has shut down the one your older version of Nitro Pro runs on so please install Nitro Pro 12.16.9.574 by getting the installer from this page:

If you are getting the 'Nitro Pro Wizard has failed' message using our .exe package, it is because it requires a stable Internet connection to download installation files so please use offline English MSI packages:

x32 http://install.nitropdf.com/professional_12169574/en/retail/nitro_pro12_ba_x86.msi
x64 http://install.nitropdf.com/professional_12169574/en/retail/nitro_pro12_ba_x64.msi

After installation, you can activate by opening Nitro Pro, clicking on the Help tab > About Nitro Pro > Activate by entering the same serial number 234600-xxxxxx-638201

thanks for the answer, with your links I was able to install and activate Nitro correctly.
given your kindness, I ask you another question.

In the company I have some PCs with Nitro licenses in verison 9, 10 and 11, if I had to format or replace those PCs these verisons can still be installed and activated, or am I obliged to buy a new license?

Please note that we no longer support Nitro Pro 11 (and older versions) per our Sunset Policy, https://www.gonitro.com/nps/product-details/sunset-policy and its activation servers have been shut down..

We recommend upgrading to our latest version, Nitro PDF Pro 13, which comes with significant stability and security improvements, as well as many feature enhancements, in particular in conversion and OCR functions. To upgrade to Nitro PDF Pro 13 at a discounted rate, please visit our Upgrade page https://www.gonitro.com/pro/upgrade 


Alternatively, you can just use the install Nitro Pro 12.16.9.574 and activate them using the serial numbers you have provided.

hello I'm having the same issue but i'm unnable to download x64 version from the link provided  http://install.nitropdf.com/professional_12169574/en/retail/nitro_pro12_ba_x64.msi

further to this when i use the portal to deactivate the licence asks me to select the device to deactivate but there is no way to select whatever

Once you click “Deactivate”, you can activate your license immediately by entering the below serial number into Nitro Pro.

With regard to our Activation Portal, you currently have zero activations so please just install the program.

If you are using Chrome or any of the Chromium-based browsers (e.g., Vivaldi, etc.) and you are unable to access the above installer links, you're more than likely experiencing the results of a new security feature that was silently pushed out to the browsers, which blocks .exe/.msi/etc downloads without any visible error or prompt on the browser's frontend user space. In order to bypass this, please try these steps:

a. Right-click the link you're trying to download, and select "Save link as..."
b. Choose your save location and select "Save"
c. On the bottom edge of your browser window, the Downloads bar should now appear and the file will show up with a red error icon, attempting to block the download. Press the caret button and select "Keep"
