Does Nitro PDF Pro require an active internet connection for it to be used?

How can i get in contact with someone??? Nitro PDF seems to have the most complicated way of contacting someone if an answer is needed asp for a sale. 
Question: Does Nitro PDF Pro require an active internet connection for it to be used??

Kindly note we have two types of keys for Nitro PDF Pro 13. The first one requires Internet connection while the other is our our Enterprise License-File uses a different type of licensing-model and does not base its activation on Computer IDs and does not require Internet access.

To be able to get an Enterprise installer with a license-file, you must purchase 20-users or more through our Sales Team by filling-up this online form: https://www.gonitro.com/contact-sales
