Cannot open older pdf files generated with earlier Nitro versions.

Hi, Nitro 13 cannot open some pdf files.  The error message:

...Please contact Nitro support for assistance.  Error code: 0x40000029.

Your help would be much appreciated.

I understand that you are getting the error code 0x40000029 when opening the document in Nitro PDF Pro. Could you please provide the exact build of your Nitro PDF Pro 13? This information can be located under the Help tab > About Nitro Pro (example format is Nitro Pro 13.x.x.x)

We recently became aware of this issue with Nitro PDF Pro where certain documents generate this error and our developers are currently working on getting this resolved.

In the meantime, you have a couple of options.
You can open the file in another program like Chrome, Edge or the free Adobe Reader and then print it to the Nitro PDF Creator printer. The new PDF created will now work in Nitro PDF Pro without error.

The other option is to uninstall Nitro PDF Pro 13.53 and install 13.50 which does not have this issue. You can download the 13.50 build of Nitro PDF Pro here:
