Activating Nitro Pro 12, -2 error bad parameter continue

Hi I have Nitro 12, with 2 installations. I got a new computer and installed the trial version, then followed all steps, deactivated the license, etc.. However, I keep receiving an error message (-2 error bad parameter). Please help. Thanks.

Thank you for reaching out to us through our Community Forums!

To successfully activate using your existing license, please ensure that you install the latest build of Nitro PDF Pro 12 which is 12.16.9.574. The installer can be located from the following location: 

https://www.gonitro.com/product-details/downloads - click the 'Download Nitro Pro 12' link. 

Once Nitro PDF Pro 12.16.9.574 is installed, you can activate by going to the Help tab > About Nitro Pro > Activate. Enter the serial number then click the Activate button.

Thank you Reymund, but now I cannot install it. I keep receiving: "nitro pro setup wizard has failed". I followed all other recommendations found in previous cases: removed pre-installed program, re-initiated the computer, etc. Nothing seems to work. Then I went and dowloaded again from other links provided in other forums, but when I get to access the page www.nitropdf.com/activation is not working.

Please try to install Nitro PDF Pro 12.16.9.574 using the offline installer. Here's the direct download links:

64bit - http://install.nitropdf.com/professional_12169574/en/retail/nitro_pro12_ba_x64.msi
32bit - http://install.nitropdf.com/professional_12169574/en/retail/nitro_pro12_ba_x86.msi

If nothing happens when you click the link, please manually copy the URL then paste it on the address bar of your web browser.

Once installed, launch the software then go to the Help tab > About Nitro Pro. If the version and build is 12.16.9.574, click the Activate button then enter your serial number to activate. 

Ultimately, the activation should be successful if the Nitro PDF Pro 12 installation is on 12.16.9.574.
