I had PDF pen (Nitro) on an old Mac (MBP 13" mid-2014) at the beginning of this year. I changed computer and have installed Nitro on this new Mac (MBP 16" M1). On both computers I have a similar problem: 9 times out of 10, when I try to OCR a document (about 50-200 pages in length), it will crash with the following error: OCR Failed OCR failed for an unknown reason with this file (On my old Mac, it would not produce an error message if I recall. The progress bar of the OCR would just randomly stop going forward, even if I gave it hours and hours). That 1 time out of 10 when the OCR works, the result is very very good. So I don't want to get another app instead. But it would be great if it stopped crashing so much, it's wasting me a ton of time because I have dozens of PDFs to OCR.
