PDFPen Pro customer left behind after acquisition

I've been a PDFPen Pro user for a decade. Since version 5, to be precise. Since the news broke about it being sold to Nitro over a year ago, the product seems to have been abandoned. It's been on version 13.1 since June 2021. We had major macOS upgrades and no software update whatsoever. It feels like the app is gonna stop working at any minute. Luckily it is working on Monterey.

Nitro hasn't made contact, neither provided any info on how the acquisition would affect me.

Please, Nitro, what is going on? What should users do? Is the software going to be updated? Is it going to work on Ventura?

Greetings @Fernando Martinewski

Thank you for reaching out to us through our Community Forums!

We do apologize for the lack of communication coming from us here at Nitro. I can confirm we are actively supporting and working to improve the product formerly known as PDFPen Pro. We did launch a new version of the software, v13.3.0, in June of 2022. Which you can find linked off the following page:

https://www.gonitro.com/installers/mac/v13/dmg/download

We will continue to support and release new versions of Nitro PDF Pro for MacOS, that will be compatible with new MacOS releases. We do appreciate and value our Mac community customers and if you have any questions or suggestions for the product feel free to let us know.

Kind regards,

I also have been using PDFPenPro for years. I have both version 13.1 of PDFPenPro and 13.3 of Nitro PDF Pro. Neither looks like any of the GUIs shown on your Knowledgebase nor do they work for creating forms.

What gives? If you have abandoned Mac users, just admit it.

There is also a release notes page for the Mac version, the page can be found here https://www.gonitro.com/product-details/release-notes/mac
