Avivi Behel
I have restricted the ability to make changes in my pdf. Saved it - closed it - reopened it. Nitro Pro shows these restrictions have been enabled. But when I open the doc in a different pdf editor I am able to make changes in the document. Am I missing something? Official Nitronaut Reymund G. Posted October 24, 2022 Official Nitronaut Report Share Posted October 24, 2022 Greetings @Avivi Behel Thank you for reaching out to us through our Community Forums! Please check the existing security settings in the document by going to File > Document Properties. Under Security tab, the 'Existing security settings' will show what are the changes allowed and not allowed on the document. If the Change document and document assembly are not allowed in the document, it should restrict any user from making changes in the document. If all settings are allowed, you can assign a security by going to the File > Document Properties. Under Security tab, set the Security Method to Password Security. A new window will appear where you can assign a permission. When you check the permission, you can select which changes are going to be allowed on the document. Kind regards,
