Hi all,

I have the same issue with PDFs created with EPLAN 2023 (PDF created with PDFlib 10.0.0 (C++/Win64).

After setting the password and saving the file, I still can open and view the PDF with Adobe Reader DC 2020. If i open the file with Nitro Pro I got the following messages: "This document is restricted or has limited access to some features [Click her for options]" and "This file was damaged (corrupted and has been repaired." the PDF is empty.

I got a reply form Nitro support:

 

"Currently, this issue/request has be placed on the long-term product roadmap, so unfortunately, there is no short-term solution for it.

Please note however, that Nitro typically has multiple releases throughout the year and we would recommend to follow our Release Notes located on our site"
