Cannot deactivate Nitro Pro

I have a computer with Nitro Pro 12 that is activated with a Nitro Pro 11 serial number.  I would like to deactivate the license on that computer so I can move it to a different one, but I get an error message when I do that. 

 

-24: Activation Error

Nitro Pro encountered some issues while attempting to activate.
