Cannot find where to turn on/off form field highlighting.

I googled this and the instructions that were returned were not based in reality. I was told to go to the "View" tab and there is no "View" tab in my Nitro Pro. How does one turn this off/on?

When you open the PDF there should be a box that pops up (probably upper right corner) that indicates the document has fillable fields.  Right below that it says "highlight form fields".  Click the box next to this to turn off the highlight.

You can find this option in the Nitro PDF Pro Preferences, under Forms section. Open your Nitro then go to File > Preferences, look for the Forms section and from there you will see the option to disable/enable Highlight form fields (see screenshot below):
