Trying to upgrade - serial number not valid?

I have Nitro Pro 12.16.9.574 and when trying to upgrade to Pro 13 it indicates to insert a serial number, which I've done, but after it searches it says: We were unable to validate your serial number.  Please ensure you entered it correctly.  If you believe you are eligible for an upgrade, please leave a post on our community forum.

Can you advise next steps?  Thanks

Are you also trying to upgrade from Version 9? Or are you attempting to activate Nitro?

Can you please let me know what error message you're getting? A screenshot will be very helpful.
