Judith C. Conklin
An attempt to install IE 11 has disabled Nitro Pro 12 and the "Repair" feature continues to fail. THe NitroPro.exe error says "The code execution can not proceed because VCRUNTIME140_1.dll was not found. Reinstalling the program may fix this problem." Where can I reinstall my copy of NP12
Official Nitronaut Leslie V Posted May 21 Official Nitronaut Report Share Posted May 21 (edited) Hello @Judith C. Conklin Sorry to hear you are getting this issue. In case the problem is something to do with the installation, can you please try the following for me: 1. Download our latest Clean Up utility: https://www.gonitro.com/support/tools/cleanup-utility-list 2. Extract the utility to the desktop (it doesn't properly run from within the zip) 3. Run the utility (NOTE: This will remove any custom signatures / stamps. Let me know if these need to be backed up) 4. Reboot 5. Download and install 12.16: x32 http://install.nitropdf.com/professional_12169574/en/retail/nitro_pro12_ba_x86.msi x64 http://install.nitropdf.com/professional_12169574/en/retail/nitro_pro12_ba_x64.msi I would also like you to download the latest redistributable packages for Visual Studio 2015, 2017, 2019, and 2022. (VC_redist.x64.exe) You can download the installer package here:https://docs.microsoft.com/en-GB/cpp/windows/latest-supported-vc-redist?view=msvc-170 Please let me know how that goes.
