Highlight rarely works

I like to use the "Highlight", but it rarely works. By looking at your support it says there should be a dropdown box by "Highlight", but mine doesn't have that. I'd say it'll actually highlight "stuff" 1 in 10 times I try.

Hi @Scott Cunningham

Thank you for reaching out to us through our Community Forums.

I understand that you are having issues using the highlight feature of Nitro.

I would love to know more about the issue. I have several questions for you:

- What build of Nitro Pro are you working with? You can find this out by clicking on 'About Nitro Pro' under the Help tab
- Is the issue file-specific, or is it happening in all files?
- Can you please send us sample files so we can check the file and replicate the issue?

If you have a sample file that you can share, please send it via message.

Thank you.

I'm using 13.58.0.1180 and also don't have any dropdown arrow beside the highlight button. I want to change colors for various things. Apparently you can create three colours for this highlighting purpose, but I don't see that anywhere!!!

So what, I now have to print it off, go buy highlight markers and perform the task manually?? I thought I was living in 2024 not 1985.

I have NOTHING similar to the attached link.

Highlight, Underline, Strikethrough, and Squiggle (gonitro.com)

Hi @Carl Williams

Thank you for the update, and I apologize for the inconvenience this has caused you.

The link you provided is for the Mac version of Nitro, which has a different interface than the Windows version of Nitro, which is the one that you are using.

To highlight the text in different colors, please highlight the text, and once it is highlighted, you can right-click on the text, and it will give you the option to change the color.

Please see the screenshot as a reference.

Thank you.
