Windows application log indicates issue with NLSSRV32.EXE. It won't start, automatically or manually without crashing. I'm running Win 10 Pro x64 version 1709 (build 16299.19). Could you please check to see if Nalpeiron Licensing Service is running in the background when you try to run Nitro Pro? To check please do the following: 1. Go to Start and type services.msc and then hit Enter 2. Scroll down until you see ‘Nalpeiron Licensing Service’ and then double-click it 3. Check that the Startup Type: is set to Automatic and that the Service Status: is set to Running - if it isn't click on Start. (If it will not start and/or you see an error 1717/1722, scroll down to Windows Event Log in the 'Services' dialogue box > Right-click > Properties. I found Nalpeiron Licensing Service in Stopped state (nlsx86cc, C:\WINDOWS\SysWOW64\NLSSRV32.EXE). Startup type is Automatic. I manually restarted the service. Service started successfully. Service status is Running. As soon as I launch Nitro Pro, the service status changes to Stopped and application error (NLSSRV32.EXE) is generated (see below). It can happen to any other programs, not just Nitro. The causes of ntdll.dll error messages can also vary greatly. I also found some suggestions: 1. Re-install Nitro completely. Please use the tool I have provided below to remove all files associated with Nitro Pro and reboot your system. http://install.nitropdf.com/support/downloads/cleanup.zip NOTE: This clean-up tool will erase any existing signature files within Nitro, so please save them to another location before using the clean-up tool in order to keep them. Please see this link for backing up custom stamps/signatures: http://kb.gonitro.com/knowledgebase#/search/stamps/000001671 When your system is back up, close all of your open applications and install Nitro Pro 11.0.7.411 from this page: https://www.gonitro.com/support/downloads 2. Reinstall the Windows update. You may find this third party website helpful. 3. Repair installation of your Windows, instructions here. I hope this helps. Nalpeiron Licensing Service still fails upon starting Nitro Pro. I give up. I'm not going to chase down ntdll.dll issues. For me, no product is worth this much time and research to get working.
