Hello @Darko Z.,

I received your private message and I have already made an adjustment on your license.
Try to activate again your Nitro Pro 11 installation by going to Help tab > About Nitro Pro > Activate. Enter you version 11 serial number then click on Activate.

I too am trying to move an existing license from one computer to a new computer.  i cannot seem to find my purchase receipt, but I have pulled the license off the old computer and it is telling me it is invalid.  Please help.

I had to reinstall Windows on my PC and prior to doing so, made sure to go to the Nitro website, confirm my serial # and confirm the fact I could reinstall. I have Nitro 11. 

I followed these exact instructions: If you recently switched computers, upgraded your operating system, experienced a computer crash, or noticed that Nitro Pro has reverted to Trial mode, you may have trouble re-activating your license. To begin fixing the problem, please input your Nitro Pro serial number below and click “Find License.”

I deactivated the license but when I downloaded Nitro and pasted in my serial #, it said the serial # doesn't exist. Even though it does exist when I go to https://licenses.gonitro.com/prd/portal

@Reymund G., can you please assist? I am a HUGE fan of Nitro and have been purchasing your software for years. I'm happy to send you my serial # along with a print screen from your website saying that my serial # is indeed valid. Thanks in advance.

I understand that the activation portal shows that you have a valid and active Nitro Pro 11 serial number. Please make sure that you are activating a Nitro Pro 11 installation, otherwise, you will get a 'invalid serial number' error message. To check the version installed on your computer, open Nitro Pro then go to Help tab > About Nitro Pro

If you see that you are running a different version, you will need to uninstall then install Nitro Pro 11 by downloading the installer from the following location: 

32bit - http://install.nitropdf.com/professional_1108470/retail/nitro_pro11.exe   
64bit - http://install.nitropdf.com/professional_1108470/retail/nitro_pro11.exe  

The link below will guide you which installer you should use on your computer:

Once Nitro Pro 11 is installed, you should be able to activate it using your version 11 serial number.

My program reverted to a trial version but I had a license for 2 computers. I can't get help to activate it. I get an endless loop that goes nowhere.

I have a 2-copy version of Pro 12 but one copy reverted to the trial version and I can't get any help from anywhere to get the problem resolved and get my program re-activated.

I have the same issue, I just deactivated and then tried to re activiate a licnese and it wont let me, how do we solve  that problem??

If you are unable to activate, kindly uninstall the version you currently have by going to Control Panel \ Programs \ Programs and Features, reboot your machine and download Nitro Pro 11 installers from this page:  https://kb.gonitro.com/knowledgebase#/search/online/000004464

If you are not sure which to pick, this will help: https://kb.gonitro.com/knowledgebase#/search/64/000003790 

After installation, you can activate by opening Nitro Pro, clicking on the Help tab > About Nitro Pro > Activate by entering your serial number.

 

If you are interested in upgrading your license to Nitro Pro 13 with a discounted rate, kindly access our Upgrade Portal and enter the same serial number: https://www.gonitro.com/pro/upgrade

I followed your suggestion, but uninstalling from the control panel, led to an error saying that windows was preventing Nitro from uninstalling, and won't uninstall, can you offer any advise on this ?

Hi @Marc Adams,

Please use our cleanup tool to remove all traces of Nitro Pro on your computer. This tool removes Nitro Pro installation and it is different to the usual Windows uninstall process. I have outlined the steps below:

1. Download Nitro cleanup tool from the link below:
http://install.nitropdf.com/professional_13192356/install-cleanup/install-cleanup.zip 

Please note that this cleanup tool will remove all traces of Nitro Pro including your customize stamps. If you have customized stamps, please refer to the link below about how to transfer/backup stamps:

2. Extract the cleanup utility then run the cleanup tool by double-clicking nitro-cleanup.vbs. Please be aware that a command window will appear during the cleanup process.
3. After the cleanup, restart the computer. 
4. Install Nitro Pro 11 by downloading a new installer from the link below. 

32bit - http://install.nitropdf.com/professional_1108470/en/burn/nitro_pro11_ba_x86.msi 
64bit - http://install.nitropdf.com/professional_1108470/en/burn/nitro_pro11_ba_x64.msi

Note: Please delete any existing Nitro installer saved on your computer. This is to ensure that new installer will not mix up with the previous installer.

Hi Reymund, thank you for your note and kind suggestions, I've followed them but its not uninstalle the NitroPro verion at all, its still showing the same error despite the cleanup installer being used, so Nirtro Pro is still installed, can you offer another suggestion?

Hi @Marc Adams,

Sorry to hear that.

I've used the cleanup tool many times on my machine and had no issues with it. Are you using an administrator account during the cleanup tool process?
Please take a screenshot of the error message when you attempt to uninstall Nitro Pro through Window's uninstall process (Control Panel > Programs and Features). 

Also, what is the version of Nitro Pro installed on your computer? You can see this in Control Panel's Programs and Features, there is a column there called Version.

Hi there

I did try to send you attache pics from my iphone, but your attachement system wont recognise them and allow me to attach them

I installed on this machine the latest verion, which I think is 13, but we have found out that I have 11

that's when the trouble has started, and the Wondows 10 system will not allow me to uninstall

I can send you the pictures, but I'll need your email address for that I think

Nothing worked, eventually I have had to restaore the machine to factory settings and start over, which wasn't great but not the end of the world etiher, thank you to the team for the help and suggestions, I just need to install another package now, but with Nitro, it means I have to upgrae or buy a new one, sadly

Reactivation issue here. Upgraded my PC, and no longer have access to Nitro. Tried reactivating, but says my serial number couldn't be found. Purchased through Cleverbridge awhile back. Any help? Thanks!

Please send me a private message and provide your Nitro Pro serial number. The Invalid license or serial number does not exist error normally happens if you are applying a serial number that does not fit the version of Nitro Pro.

Ran updates on my computer, now my Nitro Pro 12 reverted to Trial Mode.  Where can I find the serial number if I don't have the e-mailed purchase receipt as I purchased it quite a while ago?

The serial number is included on the invoice when you purchase the license. If you do not have a copy of the invoice, please provide the exact email address you used when you purchase the license. Apologies, but these seems like a very popular question..

 

I have 4 x serial / licences for Nitro Pro 12 (each with two activations available). I have retired one machine and deactivated the licence from it before retiring it. When I check my licence, it tells me number of activations is zero and number of activations allowed 2. When we try to install this licence onto a brand new computer (Nitro PDF never used on it before) we get a message saying 

The serial number entered does not exist. 
Click back and make sure that you have entered the serial number correctly. 

Needless to say, we have tried this a few times, we've even tried another licence number with the same message. 

How do I resolve this please?

Please be aware that a version 12 license will only work on a Nitro Pro 12 installation.
Kindly uninstall Nitro Pro on your new computer then install Nitro Pro 12 by downloading the installer from the following location:

https://www.gonitro.com/nps/product-details/downloads - Click the Download Nitro Pro 12 link.  

Once Nitro Pro 12 version is installed, you should be able to activate it using your version 12 serial number.
