Insert a signature

Hello. A couple weeks ago I used an option to create and use a digital signature. Now I have to use it again but first I can't see any previously used signature (recently used) and second when I was trying to create a new one, I'm able to search and chose my signature from file (jpg or pdf) but program is not allowed me to save it and use in future. Also no recently used option appear. Do I need reinstall the program? Thank you
