Joe M Posted January 15, 2018 Report Posted January 15, 2018 I'd like to be able to have Nitro Pro automatically highlight a list of words of my choosing. Is there any way to set up a batch process, or something similar to accomplish this? Adobe Pro had an action that could do this that's detailed here https://acrobatusers.com/assets/uploads/actions/Find_and_Highlight_Words_and_Phrases.pdf. It basically redacted any words that matched the list and then converted the redactions to highlighting. I could not figure out a way to import the script that worked in Adobe over to Nitro.
Power User Steven Zakulec Posted January 15, 2018 Power User Report Posted January 15, 2018 Nitro could possibly run the script, and there's a set of Redact functions under the Protect and Erase tabs. The Javascript parts in Nitro are located in the Forms tab- underneath Tab Order & Calculation Order is a Javascript option. This is your main entry point into setting up and running scripts. If you have the offline version of the Nitro 11 manual, there's a whole section describing how to use the various Javascript options, and where to place scripts. If you don't have that, the Nitro 10 manual here has those details starting on page 146: http://install.nitropdf.com/pro10/nitro-pro-10-user-guide-en.pdf Let me know how it goes.
