srte 0 Report post Posted January 18, 2018 Testing this as alternate to Adobe. Users complaining that it defaults to Hand tool, Not Select. The Hand Tool will not select text. Many times a day they open pdf's to retrieve an Invoice number and copy/paste to another app. Can you set the default tool to Select? Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

At the moment, there is no way to set Select as default instead of the Hand tool. You will have to choose the tool to do copying/pasting. A work-around is to assign a shortcut via Quick Access Toolbar at the top of the window, More Commands > choose Customize the Key shortcuts, find Select tool and assign a shortcut of your choice.
