Eberhard.Rinn Posted January 25, 2018 Report Posted January 25, 2018 How do I configure the Nitro PDF printer ("Nitro PDF Creator (Pro 11)" to print without user interaction? We want our application to print to PDF files in a predefined directory, without prompting the user for the file name and directory. Ideally, the file name should be taken from the document name (the name which appears in the print queue). Thank you very much for help!
Googleye Posted January 26, 2018 Report Posted January 26, 2018 My computer isn't set to English so my translations might not be 100%, but should be understandable. Printers and scanners > Nitro PDF Creator > Manage > Printer properties. Set target folder to whatever you like and target filename to auto generate filename. I think you need the latest Nitro build to have the auto generate filename option.
Eberhard.Rinn Posted January 26, 2018 Author Report Posted January 26, 2018 Hello Googleye, thank you very much for your post. My computer isn't set to English either (I'm German). I could not find the settings you mentioned. In the printer properties, there is only a field for the target folder, no field for the filename, and there is no auto generate filename option. I cannot see a version number of the printer, besides the fact that it is "Nitro PDF Creator (Pro 11)". The version of the Nitro Software on the system is 11.0.3.173.
