@Gerry Grant please clear your downloads folder from all previous/current Nitro Pro installer files first and then try installing it again. Also, make sure your Microsoft Office applications are closed as well.

Thanks Mario but this did not work.  I deleted all Nitro installers including old ones from Nitro 10, from the Downloads folder and closed all Microsoft products in the Task Manager (except Skype, which would not close).  Any further instructions?

Hi @Gerry Grant,

Sorry to hear that didn't work!

Please try these steps:

1. Clear your 'Temp' folder. (C:\Users\ **insert username** \AppData\Local\Temp)
2. Download our Clean Up utility: http://install.nitropdf.com/support/downloads/cleanup.zip
3. Extract the utility to the desktop (it doesn't properly run from within the zip)
4. Run the utility (NOTE: This will remove any custom signatures / stamps. Let me know if these need to be backed up)
5. Reboot the machine. 
6. Delete the installers you recently downloaded and use the following:

64bit: http://install.nitropdf.com/professional_1107425/en/burn/nitro_pro11_ba_x64.msi
32bit: http://install.nitropdf.com/professional_1107425/en/burn/nitro_pro11_ba_x86.msi
