Format issue when add text to pdf

When I add text to an existing pdf I find that the capital at the start of a word always end upp with a space after it - so if I was to add "Nitro Pro" to a pdf for example I end up with text which looks like this - N itro P ro .  This problem doesn't appear if the first letter is small case only if it is a capital letter.  How can I fix this issue please?

@highland I have also found that added text sometimes appears with bizarre spacing.  I've found that if you go to the Format menu (available when you're adding text), it may show numbers beside Character and Word spacing.  If you change both to 0, that may fix the issue you're having.  I don't know how to stop it happening in the first instance... yet another Nitro bug, I guess!
